The change in Boracay is for the sustainable tourism. The great and better move of the government to take care of the environment for the future generation.don't you think?
I agree with you. I think most people don't know that a lot of business were not connected to an underground sewage system so basically the unfiltered waste was dumped into the natural waters of Boracay. If you add the massive parties and business by the beach, it can only add to the pollution. Hopefully once Boracay is able to maintain a more sustainable environment, they will open up more business at beach front. I also love having a drink by the beach but I rather not swim in poo.

I did the canyoneering its so awesome isn't it. The zipline wasn't there then and the walk was about 20 minutes. The colour of the water is unbelievable.

OMG! I was just there in Manila and Cebu within these last 3 weeks and practically visited the same places you did. But I did not do those jumps Romeo did. Totally agree with you about Boracay not being as fun as it used to. So underwhelming but still beautiful. So glad you had a blast in my country. Love your videos, keep’em coming.
Lots of flagrant environmental violations from past admin from prev. years. Hush money kept the local officials from enforcing Laws. People were polluting the oceans. Now there is method to the madness - moderation is key .

How is protecting nature disappointing?
We are ABSOLUTELY for protecting nature and doing what’s safe for the environment. Where that may have been the motive, rules are in place now that changed the experience for us personally that we feel didn’t harm the environment in any way. Happy to know that they are making positive decisions for the environment regardless. 🥰
