I have to agree with this, I'm pushin Fujin and I do not feel like I'm anywhere near that rank. In T6 I barely pushed red ranks, T7 almost hit Ryujin (before my controller broke and I retired lol) but still didn't feel like I deserved that rank, T7 coasting to Fujin while not learning much of anything.

Just a correction kingjae: Law's nunchuck is guaranteed after slide, but tapping up will block it if the Law is LATE with the nunchuck. So it's still a good idea to block by tapping up just incase they don't do it fast enough

Yeah the timing is quite strict so even higher rank Laws mess it up sometimes and incase someone reading don't know it nunchuck is -13 so you can get decent punish probably.
Just a heads up, HOLD up instead of tapping it, more reliable

Gotta disagree. Using a top tier doesn't at all negate the skill of a pro player, especially when they had the exact same opinion of the game when using a low tier Leroy.

Players like this Law are so common online. I don't know what else people need to see to understand that this game is not a good fighting game. There are literal scrubs who just picked up Tekken in blue ranks and higher this shit makes me sick. And the funniest part is this guy has the nerve to talk trash with his shit Law smfh.

And nah man i don’t think heat is the problem personally. I think it’s the general balance around it and the chip damage.
These comebacks are only happening b/c the tracking is so damn overpowered it’s nullifying the buffed movement we got in this game. Ss & backdash we’re hugely buffed but the bs tracking of moves is ruining that. Some of these individual top tier characters are more powerful than the actual system by the way. These are the real problems
I also think high power crush heat engagers gotta go. The only thing that should possibly have that are heat bursts. And I think they should reduce the range on heat bursts too. I also think you shouldn’t be able to heat dash if they block your engager. I think that’s kinda bonkers. Either that or reduce the distance of heat dash
If they make balance decisions somewhat the game would be in a fantastic spot balance wise

Not saying he is unbeatable but you definitely will have an easier time ranking up with him than you would with other characters if you just picked up the game.

I just don't agree with Leroy being the worst, or at least I know he's definitely not the hardest to win with online, not at all. He's still cheap, even if they did give him some nerfs in T8. He's still the same cheap, annoying character he was in T7. But you know, a lot of times, I don't agree with the things people say. In T7, Gigas was considered one of the worst characters in the game, yet he was THE EASIEST character for me to get to the god ranks. I got him to Tekken God after 93 wins or something ridiculous like that.
if the character isn’t popular at all, I.e panda, gigas,shaheen, etc, most people don’t bother to learn the matchups in detail which might be the reason Gigas felt easier to rank up plus your previous ranked experience
@@Ninjasimpmunk I found that to be the total opposite with Shaheen, though. Shaheen was probably the most rare character in T7, but yet most highly ranked players seemed to know the matchup very well, and even if they didn't, it didn't really matter, because Shaheen's abilities were so weak. Shaheen was by far the hardest character to win with outside of say Steve. It's hard to open people up with Shaheen and Steve, but it's easy to open most people up with Gigas.
