That loadout config mod is the emperor's work. Dont k ow about mods from discords, I'd like to see it on Nexus though. But it's a mystery how fatshark made the psykanium without this mod and creature spawner.
I'm not a video game dev, but keeping your players in the dark and not letting them train significantly lower the skill level across the board, and hopefully makes them play your game longer. If they get too good too quick they tend to drop the game, godda keep a bit of intrigue
The Darktide Reddit is the best place to see who actually knows where the Psykhanium is located or even has the basic ability of just inspecting their weapons and reading numbers.
I saw another guy telling me that he can "feel the difference" between 65% and 75% damage on the eviscerator a couple days ago. In reality, even a literally 0 base stat eviscerator will still oneshot anything that’s not mauler or crusher or boss. And you still oneshot crusher on body after dash. What even are these guys on about?

Literally all these guys do is bitch-bitch-bitch about any subject they can dig up, its one of the few reasons why I completely abandoned it after like a week and never looked back.
Agreed with your analysis of what most people know. Your original "damage is a dump stat" video opened my eyes and made me re-think things when I was testing new builds and weapons. There are a lot more valuable things other than damage alone.
People seem to forget that the Revolver in this game is actually better than the Bolter. Shit hits like a tank. if it was 3% damage on a Laspistol then yeah, it would be unusable.
This isn't to say that the snub revolver needs a nerf. The bolter needs a buff primarily in draw speed and maybe one other thing and then it's fine. I never feel like the bolter does what the revolver can do unless I get headshots which is difficult with the default iron sights.
But why would you want this revolver anyway? You just buy 10 revolvers, one of them will have good stats. If you try to bless this revolver it's also likely to get lower tier blessings.
To deal more damage. It's not very relevant in others, and in some it's the difference between killing elites in one shot or two. You just need to test it out for yourself cause the more important consideration is reaching that threshold with your build and weapon.
