Iâve seen the hat man 3 times including in my dreams
Great to know
HAHAHAHA IM DYINGGG
I had a different experience with the hat man. When I was six or seven I woke up and walked around for my house, I was concious but it felt like I had no control of my body. I went to my mom's room and just stared at her sleeping, then I went to our living room and just stared into a corner. Awhile later I walked back to my room and that's when I saw him standing by my bed. He didn't seem human, it was unnerving. I walked up to him and I swear he whispered something to me. He lifted his finger and just lightly tapped my forehead and I fell half on the bed half off and fell asleep. I woke up in that same position the next morning. I never really thought about it until I saw this video.
Bro you have to talk to me it was the same story as me bro I was 6 too
@@northsidebtown7012 I was five when I saw it. I was sleeping with my mom and I raised my head and looked at my door and there it was. Standing still, looking at us. I woke my mom by tapping her shoulder and she also saw it. We both saw the same man and we still remember it to this day.
Ahhh yes, the king of crows
Oh wow. This is nearly the same exact experience I had around the same age, except my hat man never got that close.

When I encountered it, I was wide awake and my grandmother saw it too! So it's not just sleep paralysis!!
Yup. Never inside of the house and always in the daylight.
It wasn't allowed inside.
I would see it walking, clockwise and widdershins, around the house.
Only once did I see it sitting beside me.
I had fallen asleep, on the sofa, at a friend's.
I awoke with the feeling of being watched. Opened my eyes and saw 'The Man' sitting crosslegged atop of the coffee table, staring at me.
I looked at the "head" and said aloud, "Go away."
As soon as I said that my friend and her boyfriend began screaming. Later that morning I asked what had happened. She said, "I saw a man at the foot of the bed."
I said in response, "We must have had the same dream but I told it to go away."
I just found out about this dood and I had a experience when I was like 11, but I donât think I was sleeping
I was at my dads old house in the living room on a chair it was late at night, the tv was off with no light and I looked out the window to see a man in a trench coat with a wide brimmed hat, I donât even remember being scared because I was so young but he was standing in our front yard in front of a street light, I couldnât see any features he was all black. All he did was stand there not moving and I eventually fell asleep and woke up to nothing being there in the morning
Iâm a bit creeped out now that other people have seen stuff like this, while they are sleeping tho
yep, me and my brother saw it, he was 5 I was 7, we made a fort out of couch cushions and a sheet, we both woke up at the same time and someone oppened the front door, where out fort was made. we can describe the hat man to any perfectly and our stories would match.
@@TheRandomWolf same here man, I wasn't scared either but my brother was, I remember thinking it was my uncle, I was half awake, SO it was just happening, I didn't have a emotion about it. my brother was paralyzed with fear and he screamed. he was only 5 I was 7 years old. how can two people see something at the same time and call it a hallucinations, at the very least say its unfounded or we dont know, science is not supposed to be this narrow minded. BTW its almost 100% how everyone is describing him, I had no clue more people saw him till now, I looked because me and my bro were just talking about yesterday.
@@davidjd123 its still mind blowing to me, because I wouldnât believe in this stuff if it didnât happen to me⊠I find it really interesting though and kind of cool at the same time.. makes me wonder what other stuff is out there
I'm in New Zealand and I've seen him. He was trying to beckon me to go with him. I would've passed it off as a nightmare or sleep fog, but my cat was looking at him too. In fact, she wouldn't take her eyes off him until he disappeared.
Iâve had sleep paralysis many times because of the powerful medications I take. The first couple times my heart was pounding so hard it was hurting my neck and was probably really bad for my cardio. Now when I get sleep paralysis I just try to struggle my way out of it and eventually wake up. The way I managed to wake up as by lifting my arm up. It takes like four tries. Itâs no longer a big deal. I have definitely heard voices and thought I had been asking for help from my wife but apparently I was just laying there mumbling. Many times I was positive that the TV was on or that I had been shouting for help when really I hadnât had any of those things happen. Itâs amazing how terrifying it is when youâre not used to it. Like you think youâre dying. I have never had the experience of thinking âothersâ were there thoughâ. It is some thing that has been there since the beginning of time. People have always had that weird feeling that they were under attack. Because it is very uncomfortable not being able to move and it feels like you are being held down. Oddly enough though it is something you can get used to and not even sweat it.
fun fact: did u know that more people die from pigs than from sharks!! i will post regular vid like this so make sure to subscribe! btw i'm a kid!!
Your comment is very similar to what I now experience. Mostly me thinking I was screaming out and then when I actually come to full consciousness I know that I wasn't. And though, I now pretty much don't see or experience sinister beings during episodes anymore I still always have a sick uneasy feeling during. Though I used to have some pretty horrible ones where there was usually some type of dark ghoul in the corner of my room.. not usually moving but just there. Another one I've had several times is that I'm paralyzed and someone is screaming a blood curdling howl from somewhere else in the house. I've had sleep paralysis episodes several hundred times and they do get easier go deal with but never totally easy lol. It's just a sketchy phenomenon. I really think it happens to be because I'm always trying really hard to stay awake when I'm falling asleep and eventually I wake up from a nod when REM has already begun.
The tv thing has happened to me before
Your profile pic says it all
The only thing I get apart from all that is I feel and sense I've stood up or moved in some way only to then realise I'm still in sleep paralysis, and do it over and over till I can snap out of it,but it's always from falling asleep with TV on
I had sleep paralysis before, I would wake and canât move, my face would be on the pillow and I couldnât talk, scream, make sound, or move. Every time it happened I felt like I was gonna die...
I know itâs bad but I have it constantly but itâs because I lucid dream and Iâve gotten to the point I can control what I see and I can kinda move my body
The same happened to me but worse...and I actually got a case of the Hat Man. I woke up at 2ish am and I couldnât move. Then, in the corner, I saw the Hat Man staring at me. I had a panic attack and screamed. My brother found me screaming and chucking books at the corner where I saw him.
Same I was face down on my pillow I was aware that I was awake but I couldnât move
Then dont sleep duh đđ
Every time it happened? - so you've been experiencing sleep paralysis in quite a number? Dude that's not normal.....
I had never heard of the Hat Man until a few years after my mom passed away. Eerily enough, there was a night was with her in the hospital and she started talking about a black clad man with a big hat who was accompanied by a âmonster,â in her words. There was a moment when she went into a panic because she said they were âin the room right now.â She passed only a few weeks later, and I really just chalked it up to the drugs she was on at the time.
Now, however⊠Iâm a bit more skeptical, especially considering her detail of specifying the black hat. Iâve never been one for believing much superstition, but this one genuinely gets under my skin.
My father's hospital story closely resembles your mother's. I'm sorry for your loss. And like you i have never been one to believe in the "paranormal"
BTW I've never seen its "pet" myself. Although I have heard of people seeing it online. Usually only during sleep paralysis or dreams. Did it by chance like a just skin and bones, no eyes pale creature that ran on all fours?
That ain't no man .

What's highly strange is that everybody that has encountered hat man have all described the same things, and all over the world. Can't explain that, I thought I was losing my mind when I encountered this thing. In my encounters it started off as shadow people outside the house that somehow made their way in the house then in my bedroom. Then hatman appeared one night and flung my bedroom door open and started choking me. After that he just kind of stood there every night. I have slept with a light on for over 4 years, can't see him when the lights are on. I don't know what that thing was that plagued me but I'm just glad to know that I haven't lost my mind and hallucinating.
That was most of my childhood until my teens. It was recurring and I only managed to fight it off once. And yeah it would be outside and find its way in. He would stand there and the smaller shadow beings would attack. For the longest, I told no one but my mom. Sadly she never took me seriously so I suffered in silence.
Years ago, my daughter and I both saw Hat Man at the same time out of the corner of our eyes when we were in conversation and wide awake. Because we were wide awake, this is clearly not just a sleep paralysis phenomenon.
Same happen to me
Very similar experience, my mother and I saw him twice . The first time was when I was maybe 4 or 5 , she had me in her bed because my dad and her had argued. In fact my parents never let me sleep with them . So getting to spend a night with my mom was special . I woke up it was very dark , I could se the shadow with hat and looked like trench coat . I touched my mom nugged her and asked who is that ? She said just go back to sleep. We never talked about it till I was now 16 or 17 . We were sharing a bedroom and my grandparents house , which was a house down from my childhood home where we had our first experience. So again I wake up now very much older and my mom sleeping next to me , but this time I donât try and wake her . I just see the same shadow figure again. I just close my eyes and pretend itâs not there. We finally do get up to start our day having breakfast with my grandparents. I ask my mom if she remembers seeing shadow figure man all those years ago. Then she turns to me with look on her face and says â you saw it to this very early morning , it was still dark outsideâ . I say yes , we canât explain how we both witnessed it twice . We both never felt very threatened by it , just confused and a little spooked. I sometimes go with my mom to visit family, and we sometimes share a bed . I always think we might see him again .
He only shows himself to those who need to change their life around in some way. His nickname is the angel of terror. He's basically a shock of reality.
Me and my sister saw him i got sleep paralysis at night and was feeling very weak i can usually break out of it but i felt to weak to even try and i was like not wanting too then i felt something touch me and thats when i forced myself out of it and woke up then i just saw him there at my doorway i usually sleep with the door closed but i left it open since my sister was nextdoor and we share a heater but he was just standing there and i felt very tired looking at him and i was trying not to sleep thats when my sister woke up and turned her lights on that i felt at ease and went back to bed then in the morning i told her of my experience and said she also had sleep paralysis and saw him aswell as man with one eye hovering over her when she somehow woke up she turned her light on so yea thats interesting and its weird we both experienced it at the same time and i still saw him while awake
Same I saw the Hatman in my mirror

Out of all the sleep paralysis episodes I've had, I've only seen him once. In my paralysis state I saw a tall black silhouette with a wide brimmed hat. All I could see in the room was darkness and him. Though I never saw him get closer to me I felt like someone was trying to drag me off the mattress (no frame) by my feet. In my head I kept trying to scream and flail but I couldn't move. Eventually I either fell back asleep or became unparalyzed, I can't remember. But I didn't share it with anyone as I didn't really share my sleep paralysis with anyone. But then Netflix had a documentary about it and so many people mentioned this same man I had seen. I was terrified because honestly all that did for me was validate that it wasn't my imagination. Luckily I rarely have episodes and I don't see the man anymore but I know what I saw and felt was real and I just want to know who and why he is.
I use to be a person that would sleep with the covers over my face. Until one time a figure tried to suffocate me. @@karolaldana6649 I had a very traumatic childhood so yes. How odd
Me too I had a troubled childhood, seen it twice; once in France and once in the States, both times I was in a dream type state and it was more of a vision than a physical apparition, but felt very real and scary nonetheless. Iâm not sure why we are suddenly here trying to research this, I am curious and would like to know more about it. Also, it likely almost seems that it is more common to see this figure than religious or spiritual figures, and thatâs strange too.
Saying the Name of JESUS is the only way to break sleep paralysis and encounters with these demons. I have had this happen to me on several different occasions, and they left immediately when I started saying JESUS, even though I couldn't speak. I started saying it inside of me, and when they fled, my mouth opened, and I was immediately speaking His Name out loud.
"The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, âLord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!â And He said to them, âI saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.â

I have seen him in my childhood, but he appeared to me more when I was an adult. He drove me to a point where I was questioning my own sanity. Yeah, I saw this I'm broad daylight in the middle of the day so it definitely had absolutely nothing to do with Sleep paralysis. Also, I wasn't the only one who saw it. I was with 5 of my friends but only two of us saw it. We both had some innate feeling that made us both turn around at the same time and see the exact same thing in the exact place. A completely black figure wearing some sort of coat and larged brimmed hat walking down the sidewalk. It was in mid stride then disappeared behind the house that was next to the sidewalk. Me and my friend then immediately looked at each other then immediately ran to where we saw it. There was absolutely nothing. There was no cars parked or anywhere someone could have hid behind. Just a long sidewalk with a wall next to it until the next block. I still have absolutely no idea what we saw but I know it wasn't normal. How exactly would two people hallucinate the same exact thing in the same exact place at the same exact time?
Yeah this isnt a sleep paralysis hallucination this thing is real and most people I know have seen it at some point
I saw it mid day after leaving my bathroom so yeah..
I think it's just like other supernatural phenomena and it's nature in a superposition so it has to do with the angle and bending of light waves and the people that experience it at night probably have moonlight shining through their windows...

When I was like 9 years old, me and a friend were home alone and went out into the front yard to play ball
When we got into the driveway and turned around, my friend goes âyo who is that in my kitchen?â And I looked because I was like ânobody is home, what are u talking aboutâ
But someone **was** home, a tall silhouette of a man in a long trench coat, and a top hat, standing menacingly in the kitchen (we could see him through the blinds)
We ran inside to confront him, but when we got inside nobody was there đ
Iâve seen it when I was 13. I always brushed it off as me being crazy but now itâs so weird knowing more people have seen it. When I seen it I was awake, sitting in front of my tv. When they tv switched to commercial I seen him in the reflection standing on my bed. I ran out of the room and my dad brushed it off as someoneâs shadow outside, but we lived on the second floor. Just adding this incase anyone can relate or something. At the time I was playing around with spells I found online and thought they didnât work. Also I found a witchcraft book under my step moms bed, but when I told all my cousins and they asked me to go get it, it was gone. The only other weird thing that happened at the time almost every night I would wake up and throw up with super high blood pressure. And that hasnât happened to me since.
Then Iâve read things about a small dog like animal being with it. And on two occasions I remember weird happening with an animal. One night my dad woke up saying my cat was in his room because she just jumped up on him, and I told him sheâs been sleeping with me all night in my bed. And the second time I came out of my room, and seen a raccoon looking rat run into the bathroom into a hamper. I instantly grabbed the broom and beat the hamper but nothing was in it

Theoretically, I do believe our shadows are quite interesting. When I was a kid and just introduced to the theory of the multiverse and parralel dimensions. I always believed that in another world we are shadows for other people. And to this day I still think that mirrors are openings to another dimension where everything is the same but different.
This happened to me too, I saw multiple shadow people when I was a kid up until I moved to another house, Ive only seen shadow figures ounce.
The white figure just stared at me motionless It was late at night and I was in bed, no lights on either
Itâs weird cause my mom experiences this entity but in a calming way. Sheâs never had sleep paralysis and heâs always given her a sense of comfort and protection. He doesnât have red eyes, heâs always silent and he just stands at the foot of my moms bed.
When I was in my moms stomach, he disappeared all those 9 months. And then when I was born, heâd stand at the foot of my crib and my mom told him that heâd better protect me now too, and so as I grew up apparently she always saw him at the foot of my bed a lot. He now follows her around again and Iâve never EVER seen him at all.
He never touched her or anything and he looks like heâs from an older time, she says thatâs what his hat makes her think of.
And now sheâs finding out that everyone is having these experiences but in just a way more negative way so I started doing research for her. Itâs odd that she has such a positive experience with him and all these other experiences are negative and nerve wracking :\
The silent but yet somehow overbearing "bodyguard" feeling?
I totally understand.
A lot of people have had calming experiences as a child with the hat man and some people said that while their dad abused their mum the hat man would comfort the child or cover the childâs eyes, I saw this off other peoples comments on a Tik Tok about the hat man so I do not know if the hat man can be that comforting but I think he can be to some people
To be honest my experience was kind of comforting he spoke to me last night I can't remember what he said but I'm both comforted yet terrified of his words and yet I kinda want to see him again if he continues to not harm me in any way some people has actually have positive encounters they just chose to sometimes exaggerate the story or these shadow people really dosemt like
My Mom saw the same hat man but all in white.I saw him all in black. She had a positive experience.I had 2 years of him showing up in the dark in many places in my homes (yes different homes).
I had both with the same figure, first threatening and scary, but after i accepted and started to look for him (curiousity killed the cat eh?) it just became unthreatening, still a bit scary, but a lot more friendly.
When I was a kid I once woke up at night to see a man in a hat standing next to my bed and I heard the sound of an almost empty pen scrathing on a paper. As if he was writing something on the table. I remember it so vividly.
It's pretty exciting to see that this hat man is a worldwide phenomenon.

I used to get awful sleep paralysis. However im greatful my eyes would never open. Sometimes it would turn into a lucid dream. After I started listening to white noise however, I havenât had it since. My white noise is rain sounds .
Had sleep paralysis some days ago: there was something tall and thin, and it was very close to me. There was also a yellow light coming from an open door behind it, althought there was no real door nor room there. I'm used to sleep paralysis, so I was not that afraid, but, for some reason, I identified the figure as a bear (the animal); however, I don't think a bear would fit the description that much... Maybe it was the hat man, but without a hat ?
Also, I tend to have sleep paralysis when I don't sleep sideways. Don't know why, tho.
Sleeping flat on your back is the position thatâll trigger sleep paralysis, for people who have chronic sleep paralysis the advice is to avoid that sleeping position all together.
I identified the Hatman as Death before.. Idk why I associated featureless tall entity + big hat of some kind to be Death itself.. but I do know it attracts all darkness thats why we cant really see that much even encountering it like.. face to face..
I still hate that image.. but I never once thought it was evil.. more like neutral.. hence why I thought it was death. But still.. I was paralyzed at that moment..
The reason why it was not that impactful to me is because I don't really felt the fear, it was more like announcing its presence and just let me go. Like some sort of intimidating General.
I dont know if there are cases like mine where they don't necessarily fear the Hat Man but it's certainly a curious case when I shouldve been as scared as what people expirienced.
Also I felt like.. Ive met the entity before.. but in another form in my nightmare / foreshadowing dreams.. and theyre associated with deaths of prominent people and people I know.
Something that I always found interesting before dementia/Alzheimerâs took my grandfathers life, was that he would claim to see a man that look just like this. He even carried on conversations with him towards the end. He never said who he was but he claimed to know who the man was and that we did, too. I genuinely am curious who it is that he saw and what he said to him.

Super creepy, one of my relatives on my mum's side had this happen repeatedly, waking up to a shadowy man, where she was paralyzed and couldn't move. Was only ever one figure, who also floated above, or stood on or kneed on her. She started to lose weight from the stress and they moved her out and the visits stopped. Never knew about the multiple sightings though.
I've had sleep paralysis hundreds of times and have come to the conclusion that what I see are dreams. For instance, I would dream of awaking but not moving, but some things are off when I do wake up, such as the direction I was sleeping in. I remember in one occasion, I saw my brother walking up the stairs as I attempted to plead with him to help. Turns out he wasn't home. I have even had some really strange ones where I would glitch through the walls and floor but not be able to move and would glide around as I lied flat like a bugged out character in a game. However it's not just a normal dream, I am fully conscious and fighting to move or speak. Perhaps it's some form of lucid dreaming in a state of paralysis. It's also accompanied by an increasingly louder tinnitus sound which makes me lose consciousness. And it comes in waves. I tend to be afraid of sleeping again, but it occurs when I'm already very tired. I'm most afraid of the tinnitus sound that drives me unconscious because no matter how calm I try to be, right before losing consciousness, I have this feeling of dread that I am about to die. It's also unbearably loud.
Sleep paralysis can cause hallucinations. Its also less scary when you understand it better. I recommend reading about rem sleep

This has happened to me multiple times, and I had started to dismiss it due to conventional medical advice. But...it happened again two nights ago and my dog, who sleeps on the bed, started growling and snarling whilst I was paralysed. I have never felt such a strong presence and on every occasion I can actually feel the entity move across the bed to get to me. It is definitely a real phenomenon for anyone who may be skeptical.
What does the entity look like if I may ask
It is always at night, so it is hard to give a description. It is the feeling of a presence and the physical sensations of being pressed down, bed covers moving etc that is truly terrifying.

Two months ago i had an experience with this featureless black figure exactly how itâs described. I was awoken to see it walk past my door and the coat was flowing like it was moving fast but it wasnât. Next thing I remember Iâm laying flat on my back hands to my side, him kneeled on my chest with distinctive sting hands holding my mouth and nose completely shut, I screamed as loud as I could and could barely even make any noise as I couldnât breathe, for what I can remember was about a minute. I have never had this dream before and havenât had it since. I understand this could be all in our heads but I still think about it daily and itâs terrifying finding out Iâm not the only one
Itâs because you saw something Et đthere the men in black
Ask yourself how is it possible that people all around the world have the same dream? Sleep paralysis is a scientist explanation because they donât believe in the supernatural. I saw the same man wearing a Black hat with red eyes, however I remember a bit more details. I saw his hands and they were huge but another thing I noticed was his finger nails were amazingly groomed. He looked at me and started going towards me in a back and forth motion trying to get a scare rise out of me. Itâs as if he was doing it to feed off of my fears. I was laying in my bed as he stood there beside my desk in the corner of my room. Iâm 54 years old and had been experiencing stuff like this since I was a child. When I was about 8 years old I remember laying in bed with my feet towards this square box fixated in the wall at the bottom of my bed. One night I felt these hands holding my ankles and woke up because it felt really cold. At first I was too afraid to look down at my feet and when I did my heart started pounding. I was way too horrified to move so I started yelling for my mother but as soon as she came into my room I felt the hands releasing from my ankles. The same thing happened the second night and once again my mother ran to my room but this time my sister came in with her. The look on my mother face confirmed my worst fear because I knew she was seeing what I was seeing. She wouldnât even come into my room thatâs how scared she was but she did yell at me to come towards her. A few months later we moved out of that house but she would never tell me what she saw even till this very day. My sister said that she believed me from the beginning because she was experiencing things herself like, dark shadows in the hallway. To this very day I have dreams about waking through that very same hallway but Iâm too afraid to look to the right or left where the bedrooms were. Too this very day I have never felt such darkness, I mean, it was as it the darkness was alive. Now that Iâm older Iâm starting to realize it doesnât matter where I go because this darkness could always find me. I have had so many experiences that I could write a few books but I wonât because each time I share my experiences something always happens. Last time I told someone one of my experiences I heard pots rattling in my kitchen. My cat heard it too and now she refuses to sleep beside the kitchen where her bed had been for months. Even as Iâm writing this something just moved out of the corner of my right eye. My friend told me that my dreams are the stuff of Hollywood movies. I believe there is a place between the dream world and this world. The world is filled with things we donât quite understandâŠ.yet đ
Iâve seen him before except I wasnât in dream paralysis. So I woke up in my grandparents house and went downstairs for breakfast when suddenly my brain told me to look at the corridor outside the room I was in. So I did and then I saw him. I only saw him for a bit and if I blinked I wouldâve missed it because he was running down the corridor as fast as he could. I know I must be right cause after I told my grandparents what I saw, my grandpa told me heâs seen him too.
I had one stressful night and didn't sleep well. The next day I'm on the couch and there he is. My guy had more of a brown trench coat. He was still but I knew he was staring at me. I used to have sleep paralysis, but that was before I started taking anti-depressants. I haven't hurt myself in a lot time, but I generally do disturb objects. It's not as bad as it used to be. In the past, I have thrown object while I was asleep or trying to wake up. I usually was trying to defend myself in the dream just to wake up to realize that I actually threw something. I don't remember anything about a hat man. People across the world and in different cultures do share deeply rooted feelings. This might help explain the hat man thing.

My encounter with the hat man; I was about 5 or 6, and this is one of the few memories I have from living at my old home. I was in my bedroom (My bedroom is at the back of the house and was always off-putting to be in) and I believe i was about to go to sleep. when i looked to my window, I saw a fairly tall man with a fedora like hat. I found it odd, since all i saw was his silhouette. I thought that he would hurt me or something for a second, but all he did was tip his hat off to me and walk away. I wasn't afraid of him, weirdly enough. My mom said that my room always scared her, especially after I told her about the man in the hat. we moved out not to long after that and I've had a few cases of sleep paralysis every time I thing about that memory a lot.

This is really happening to me over 1/2 years, finally someone explained the experience
This happened to me as a child. I saw the hat man by my bedside doing weird gestures at me like some kind of sorcery. And he had a face but it was very obscure and it appeared that his paleness peered through the shadows. I could not scream for my mother although she was sleeping right next to me. At the last of my recollection I was thrown out of consciousness and felt like I was being pulled spirally downward until I awoke the next morning.
They would pull me down a spiral staircase. It was dark and had amber color tiles on the wall. the stairs looked like marble and the rails were iron. further I was dragged the darker it got.
This has happened to me multiple times over my lifetime. Even though I've never seen the eyes...the paralysis is frightening. At times, I've been told that I've screamed "You aren't supposed to be here." When I wake up I am so confused and simultaneously relieved that I am awake.
I've had sleep paralysis so many times since I was 14 it's easy to realise when it's happening and break out of it now. Sometimes I even let it go on for a while on purpose, I've never seen any figures in my life or hallucinated at all I just get a big rush of adrenaline and fear. Hard to explain it in words.
Same after my 3rd experience I got used too it and can handle my sleep paralysis sightings
I've only knowingly experienced sleep paralysis once, and I didn't see any hat men, I just saw my water bottle next to my pillow cos I couldn't move anything, not even my eyes, so, just stared at my water bottle until I drifted off again, freaky experience though, not being able to move is a really horrible sensation...

It is possibly connected with the alien abduction phenomenon. Often the beings wear a long cloak with a hood. He stared at me for what felt like forever and then my flight or fight took over and I decided to fly. But when I got up to run I looked at the closet and he was no longer standing in the doorway. Never have seen him again but have always been so terrified.
I have a similar story. Except it was the tv and he was on my bed
I've seen him while I was lucid dreaming (I'm really surprised I couldn't find a single comment saying they saw him in their lucid dream), but I was sitting on my computer desk chair, and I saw him standing across the room I was in, behind the window, I tried to go in that room and see if I could somehow interact with him, but no he just stands there like a ghost?
