Welcome back to our first Theme Park outing of 2022 and it comes from Southend and Adventure Island! Join us as we stay in the South and head to the land of the mass spinning rides, with POVs from classics including Time Machine and Whip, to the coaster thrills of Green Scream and Rage.
This was only the second time we got to see Axis, with an all new POV this is joined by the parks new attraction for 2022, The Screature extreme ride. A fantastic Extreme this rides like a dream smooth with fast bursts this will be a huge winner for Adventure Island in 2022.
We also look at the map as the park are waiting for the Dragon Claw to return, which will be renamed Devils Dance this will be located next to an all new development area this Autumn. What do you think the park could be getting?
As always this is easily the happiest park in the UK, with fantastic staff and so much energy you can't help but smile.

Good and amazing video, visited Adventure Island a good few weeks ago with my friend and saw the ride area where Go Karts used to be and thought for the big space there, think its going to be a spinning coaster like Pinball X at Hastings a.k.a Dreamland Margate's old ride. We both hope it will be that type, but might be completely wrong? Love this park, think it has loads more to offer in future with future developments and more. Shame some rides weren't open, but I suppose its what it is. By the way, can confirm that "The Vortex" is no longer under the Tidal Way slides, not sure where its gone as didn't see it while on our visit. I suspect they most likely have either sold it or scrapped it? But again not sure? But thanks for another vlog, look forward to see more videos soon and yeah cheers. 😀👍

It wouldn't surprise me if adventure island are to build a huge stage for events, as they are promoting more events this year, however knowing them, they've always been very good at managing space and i would absolutely love to see a new coaster which would absolutely solidify the park for the next decade or so. They have been investing majorly in the last few years (axis, screature, repainting rides and don't forget adventure inside 7 years ago). I'm so excited to see what they do.
Stage would be a great idea, thunk there is room for one on the rage side if they wanted

So that's where you got to start the season - we never got to a park for opening weekend but if we had Adventure Island was a definite possibility just 2 and a bit hr drive with our bargain annual pass. Great to hear feedback from you all, yes looks very likely to be a spinning coaster doesn't it, but how about something like that xxl at Winter Wonderland now that would be good. That was a lot of closed rides perhaps they don't really have enough operators this early on along with maintenance work, but sounds like you were very happy with the value you got anyhow. Did you all ride Adventureville? I am guessing it was just you Adam ... but thank you that is one fun ride to lift anyone's spirits. Where you off to next? Look forward to finding out soon, a great start to your season
I know they will come up with something special. We all rode adventurevillle, have to wear a chest mount on rides so not so easy to show people!

Love this park to bits my home town my place of work for many years glad to see them investing in more rides and attentions I know the Vortex is going off for a refurb soon I think this will happen when the new improved dragons claw comes back can’t wait to get back to the park still not activated my annual pass from last year great vlog as always.
A lovely park, never have a bad visit
Good to see continued regular investment here. Hopefully it will be something different and not a bog standard Spinning Wild Mouse.

ti i read your infomation i wondered what happed to the dragons claw was it sent off to be refubished ?
Yeap it's being fully refurbished and is due back at Easter!
Rage is my all time favourite at adventure island! Closley followed by time machine, which i had to talk all the way through so i wasnt focused on feeling ill.

Great vlog there Adam & boys and to see you ride there new Screature Exrteme that looked a good ride , i have done a few Extremes last one being Aeronaut at winter wonderland this year and i also did Air Raid in 2020 how do you rate or compare Screature to any other extremes you have done ? i plan to visit Adventure Island this year , cheers Adam 👍
Its very smooth, not to the Air Raid level which I rate very highly
@@UKThemeParks Yes Air Raid is one of the best 4 arm Tivoli Extemes out there and also Void that looks amazing too
I’m hoping a s&s el loco will come (clone of mumbo jumbo at flamingo land) because they are not to expensive and they can maybe change it to be the uks steepest coaster

@@UKThemeParks wondered if you heard anything of if your in the know ? I mean an experience Could still be a ride ? I’d love to see a dungeon like attraction or like an indoor immersive ride. Also what I don’t understand is vortex and claw were old buy still ran well. Look at sky drop more force in an elevator ! What they need is a thrill drop ride maybe even tower of terror style !
