    Dre was the smartest out of all of them . He started death row to get away from the bs n it still came to death row so he didn’t want to be around that .       When i read Ronnin Ro's book Have Gun Will Travel The spectacular rise & violent fall of Death Row & heard for few former Death Row artists & employees that have said that Dre & Suge were the best of friends, Dre even said in that VIBE Magazine article that he & Suge are like brothers. Dre just got tried of all that nonsense going on at Death Row, so Dre seen the hand writings on the wall for Death Row , Dre decided to leave.

    Reggie stay speaking his truth and stating facts. Dre getting shot in the legs were from Dre standing up for and trying to protect Jewell during an incident/argument (I think domestic) that she was involved in. Dude was being disrespectful towards Jewell, Dre intervene and stood up to dude, that led to brief fight and in the process of that Dre was shot in both of his legs. From what I've gathered, that incident had nothing to do with Suge in regards to his involvement. So, that's bullshit. Several people talked about that incident over the many years. Dre and Quik is two of the best producer to ever do it. In my opinion, I think Dre is a better producer than DJ Quik. Yet, they're both a beast with their production. Salute

    Damn near everyone on Deathrow would've been locked up if it wasn't for Suge taking care of legal situations, but with that being said the way Suge handled business after the fact they don't owe him shit unless they choose to say let bye gones be bye gones. Deathrow could've still been the biggest label with all members in tact if Suge knew how to separate the business from the street shit & put that muscle he had behind him in executive positions like the real MOB does, but instead he chose to not follow his own famous advice & be "All in the videos, All on the Magazines"...

    Dre was Death Row! I think he left bcuz Suge wanted Dre to do things his way. That’s the same reason he left Ruthless. I do think Dre and Snoop owe Suge, atleast a small favor. Especially Snoop, the way they worked that Murder case he was facing was genius. He walked away like he was John Gotti. (And we all know he didn’t have a million dollars to fight that case, so he would have had to cop out. Suge save him, what other label or individual would do that?)

      There’s too many factors that contributed to Dre’s departure from DR. One main one is that the work environment was basically the same as the streets; people was getting beat up. Dre stated that when a sound engineer was getting beat up over a simple mistake, that was the last straw. Pac and Dre not getting along is another factor. Dre and Suge’s partnership just wasn’t meant to last.

    Yeah Dre and Quik are my fav Hip Hop producers and I’m from South Florida. Sonically you can definitely hear the attention to detail on the mixing on Dre vs Quik. Dre mixes are slightly cleaner and punches harder. Quik shit punches hard too but for whatever reason Dre attention to detail / simplicity is 2nd to None. No pun intended

    Dr Dre was the co-founder of Death Row Records. He was contractually obligated to whatever money he received regardless how many beats he made or records he produced. He left Death Row cause shit was starting to get spooky and then Suge began piping his baby mama….End of Story. Suge would have loved to keep Dr Dre as head producer and mixer. But Dre was done and moved onto Aftermath Entertainment: Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game and Kendrick Lamar

      That's not true.
      The agreement between Suge and Dre was that Suge would handle all executive and business decisions, and Dre would oversee the music and artists.
      Dre didn't have issues with violence. Dre and Eazy spoke on the phone to settle things between them. Dre told Eazy to meet him in a room. Eazy was unnarmed. He didn't feel like he needed one. But when he got there, he saw Suge and his homies, but Dre wasn't. Dre also participated in making people drink urine. Dre was completely with the bullshit. What changed is when Suge and Michel'le started hooking up. THAT'S why Dre left Death Row.

    Dre didn’t give Warren G, Daz, or Sam Sneed credit on certain songs when they were initially released. Then, on a few Death Row compilations the label began giving Daz & Sam credit for their production.

    Dres beats definitely sounded different on Death Row than on Aftermath. I found his Aftermath stuff to kinda sound the same.

      Dre and Daz never worked together again I believe.
      Dre n Mel Man created a sound for 2001 album.

      He used less samples Post Death Row Days. And if he did Sample they replayed them With Live instruments instead of just running Vinyl Records thur a MPC and Chopping Them. Aftermath Beats was way better in my opinion!!!!

If you take away Rob Bacon from Quik and Battlecat's 90s productions, they arent s&&^. Battlecat is 10 times better than Quik. Battlecat is the motherf^^^ who supplied Quik with the drum kits for Quik Is The Name album. Quik and Battlecat, put together, cant f^%% with Dre. You can have your opinion. I have facts.
