From a HVAC guy that does this day in and day out here in Texas, I'd hire you. Well though out and it appears you factored in static pressure. Damn good job.
Thanks so much!
Your new bus is looking cool and you are doing a great job on your New bus
Thanks!
I respect you guys for all u r doing good luck
great job !
Amazing all that you are doing to the bus.
In our bus we have 3 sections. living room, bathroom, and sleeping quarters. We have walls in between and 1 ductless roof top ac unit for each room. Itâs a constant 72 even in Mississippi 90 percent humidity and we kept all our bus windows. Same t2145 model also
Looking good it's going to be beautiful
What a beautiful family! Loving parents and helpful kids. I love your story. May God bless and guide your family, keep you safe and healthy. đâ€ïž
Wow, dang Shane y'all really been doing some serious research. It's looking excellent love the air conditioner setup. I was thinking about doing a mini split but I think this is a much better idea. Isaiah you are doing fabulous making these videos I mean you are doing really fabulous!
May the lord keep you and your family safe the bus is looking good
Welcome back i miss you guys
I did my own Mini-splits also in our bus the same way. it is really not hard just take your time and follow all directions.
Looking amazing! Just an idea, perhaps consider extra cooling for the bunk room? During the night this area will have the most âheat sourcesâ, and so your load balance might be off from what you have tested now, or what you have planned for day use. Just a thought. Videos are top notch! All the best and God Bless!
Loving the build. We started watching you guys about two years ago when âresearchingâ for our build.
So, 12kbtu ducted mini for you guys? That seems a little small for a 45â rig with how many bodies in it?
I would save space for a second unit in you bay, I promise you will need it.
âŠand now that youâre running 240v S/P thatâll give you more electrical room. Too bad the build is so far along, could easily go up to a 24kbtu unit for the rig.
I got my bmw windows tinted with 98.5 % uv rated and 25% darkness. I still had a great deal of heat from the front window. Then I remembered they offered a clear tint that blocks 99.5% of uv and now I can park my car in direct sunlight for 2 hours and come back and the car be in the upper seventies and upper nineties outside. And by the way my car is white with black leather interior. I highly recommend that you check this out cause it will stop all your heat problems.
Great! Thanks I will look into it.
Pinitical and stratos are the the names of the two tint products.
About a year in... any updates? How's it working? Anything you'd do differently? Are you able to keep the whole interior at a consistent temperature front to back with your design?
We ditch our mini splits. We went with roof tops. Problem isnât the temp it blows out. Itâs cfm. A box fan has a 1200 cfm vs the mini split is around 300 depending on model. We had major issues keeping temp which became unsafe for our pets onboard. Best wishes hope this works for your family.
Interesting. In the evening I can get the temp in the whole bus down to the upper 60âs. During the day it sits in the low 70âs in full sun. Is your unit ducted?
@@TheBusLifeShow Exactly: Ducted vs Ductless....
Another great video! I just donât understand your viewsđ€Are you guys shadow banned? Do you have a strike on your channel that needs to be fixed? You really should be getting more views đŻ
Itâs been that way for some time. Shadow banned possibly.
@@TheBusLifeShow I noticed. I got shadow banned on Instagram for posting a narrative that they didnât like. So my viral video ceased from growing. I know you have a video thatâs controversial thatâs still up. If you delete it, itâll probably fix the issue, but I wouldnât. Itâs an important video.
Actually, try omitting those sensitive words on the title and description and bleep out the word on YT Editor. Your ban might be lifted đ€
@@sHazOOPLA whatâs strange is it happened long before that. There was a time our channel was growing by 1,000 subs a month and then it just stopped. đ€·đ»ââïž
@@TheBusLifeShow yeah thatâs strange indeed. 1000 subs a month is a good goal to reach! Letâs go! đđŻ Keep up the good work guys, youâll figure it out and Iâm sure youâll crush that goal in no time đ
Have you had any issues with the unit vibrating and/or shaking around as your drive the bus around? I've noticed a lot of units made specifically for buses that are supposedly designed to withstand the vibrating from driving around.
Itâs bolted down and has the rubber buffers under the feet. So far so good.
Do you think you may have to add a air duck fans to pull more air the ducks ?
I donât think so. If it keeps us cool in Florida we should be good.
How is the airflow working out? Not to criticize, cause i hate when people just bash someone else's work, I have a 5th wheel camper and my ducted system loses volume quickly.
Hi cuestiĂłn the unit come whit control or thermostat
Yes it comes with a thermostat
How you install the thermostat
Only 1ac ????
I have a prevost...and 4 isnt enough.
Do you have a mini split or overhead? Are all your windows taken out?
@@TheBusLifeShow i has cruisairs....they are something like a minisplit...just older and not as efficient. most of the windows are gone...its a featherlite conversion. im interested in minisplits due to their efficiency...but Id have to sacrifice a bay...the current cruisairs condensers are in the bumper area...they not as tall as the minisplit condensers
