Although you are partially right about the 15th August being the birthday of both Pakistan and India. You are completely incorrect about the reason, First of all Viceroy Mountbatten chose 15 August, the second anniversary of Japan's surrender in the World War II, as the date of power transfer. He chose 14 August as the date of the ceremony of power transfer to Pakistan because he wanted to attend the ceremonies in both India and Pakistan. Pakistan later chose the date of 14th August because Mountbatten administered the independence oath to Jinnah on the 14th, before leaving for India where the oath was scheduled on the midnight of the 15th. No hate just sharing information.

Midnight , 12 AM , 15 Aug 1947 ,... India was declared an Independent country . It meant Independence for both India and Pakistan . The catch is , there is a one hour time difference between India and Pakistan . So 15 Aug 12 am in New Delhi was 14 Aug 11 pm in Karachi .

Here in Germany in my neighborhood, there are a lot of people from Pakistan and Bangladesh. I noticed that there are indeed warm and nice people everywhere. I realized that no country is bad or worst, it's few people or a group/party say the government, politicians or some extremists who tarnish the reputation of the country and disturb the peace and harmony.

I'm an Indian and one of my first flatmates in Europe was Pakistani and we took some time to get along. We have extremely different mindsets (more to do with our own individual personalities to a lot of degrees) but I tried to be inclusive and we stirred clear of things of conflict. It was quite interesting how there were certain words and food that were common but then the things I thought she'd obviously know, she didn't. And, like that one girl here said, most of them definitely know more than we do. Of all the Pakistanis I met there, in one particular interaction, the guy was pretty sure I would be disappointed that he was Pakistani and not Indian. Unfortunately, I was very sleepy at that time to give a proper response.

Pakistan didn't got independence. It was created on 14th Aug, 1947. That's not the case with India. India (Bharat) was there from thousand and thousands of years and got independence from British colonial power on 15th Aug, 1947.

Just watch the street interview which covers the opinion of Pakistanis on the plan to construct a temple in Islamabad , not one person was in favor of that decision, they could not accept one Hindu temple in their capital city. India has hundreds of Mosques in Delhi. We Indians love Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, APJ Kalam and many other muslim personalities, ask a Pakistani to name one Hindu celebrity in Pakistan.
Pakistan is not a country but an ideology, (I am saying this after reading about all those major personalities who proposed the idea of Pakistan). There might be some people in that piece of land who do not subscribe to this ideology and there might be some people in India who follow this ideology. So to summarize it all i do not hate the Pakistani people but the ideology called Pakistan.
Tell me one thing, have you ever actually met a Pakistani and had a conversation with them?
