The '8' symbol is meant to symbolize eternal chaos and inevitable destiny. They they're all gonna die at some point, but they still have to go through multiple stages of torment to get to the upper levels of the game. Well, it's not really a cliche, oversaturated game show with colorful lights and the emcee who always laughs, but y'all get my point.
The 8 looks like an infinite symbol. Maybe that's a clue on what will happen in the show. Maybe these players have to be in this show and play the game for eternity.
Exact same thought! It's a clue, for sure. Not to mention it turned like clock or timer, even had the sound effect. Eternity? What springs to MY mind, right off, is the afterlife. Like purgatory. Or Hell. No matter what, I am so intrigued already. Honestly, for me, it's the 2nd most enticing trailer this year. Right behind 3 Body Problem.
i think it symbolises that the money just rises indefinitely
i feel they are all dead and the only way to beat the game is to figure it out, and then they be granted a new life, maybe be immortal. That be new an refreshing.

Korean movies are awesome, very violent at times, but also very creative and moving. Take Parasite as a prime example, best movie ever made.

This could be that surprise show of the year. I love that while the other streaming services try some foreign shows and movies out, Netflix will go all. Even if that means pushing down the shows made here a little.
