There is a fine line between positive thinking, and knowing God’s will. At times, God’s will scares me. When my husband got sick with cancer, I prayed that he would get better, but that wasn’t God’s will. May God show me the difference here. I try not to say anything about my luck, or that I am lucky or I am lucky I’m alive. it is not Lucky luck luckily, it’s blessing.

Why not just pray and ask God instead of trying to declare things into existence? Why didn't the disciples (the biblical church which should be our foundation) declare and speak themselves out of extreme hardships&difficult circumstances?
Jesus told us to ask in His name.. Asking on behalf of our Lord Jesus Christ is asking what is in alignment with His Will. That is why we should examine our intentions & motives for asking...
Best is asking to remove every wrong or worthless desire or longing from our hearts and help us pray as we ought to.

I don't believe in the notion of self actualizing and self proclamation of manifestation through positive thinking as this does not align with God or the gospel of Y'shua Ha Ma Shiach However, I do believe there is power in His written word to those who are called His children. One must tread carefully as not add worldly ideology to the word of God for that is the practice of Satan and doctrines of demons.
I would say it is benifitial at times to think posited within context to one's circomstances but it is dangerous to add meaning to the word of God beyond it's context. ..."A little levin levins up the whole bread. The word of God is thus perfect and joy comes naturally when reads and meditate on it and thusly obtains a positive mindset and changes one's perspective one one's own circumstances; that is the power of God's word. There is no magic that is an a ocult practice.
I don't prescribe to positive self actualization, or manifestation of blessings through positive thinking. This does not line up anywhere in the written Word. In fact positive thinking to manifest in order to accumulate material wealth goes against the written Word. This mindset of namining and claiming is an occult, cult practice and therein is satanic and apart of doctrines of demons and practioners of things are subject to the manipulation of saton and his demons through the use of pagan, new age, kabbalah, etc... practices and rituals. It is written, " a little levin levins up the whole loaf of bread." There is nothing wrong with having money or wealth or possessions, but it is the love of money and such things that is the root of all evil. "One cannot love God and mammon, for you will love one and hate the other. The practice of self actualization, manifesting wealth through positive thinking is not a fundamental Christian practice. Tread carefully in what you practice and believe as a follower of Jesus Christ. Back up what you believe in by scripture alone and not just solely on what is said or what you hear regarding the written word.
With that said I do believe that positive thinking can transform one's perspective on one's in circumstances, and is benifitial to one's own countenance.
@avalon3317 We read from the King James version Bible only you don’t have to rewrite the Bible and make it a new American standard Bible. That’s a rewritten Bible and man’s words and not the prophets and not God’s word all the way it’s taking words out of context it’s changing the Bible, the way it was meant to be read.
@@godschild3640 actually the NASB is the closest translation from the Koinonia Greek and ancient Hebrew language. Greek was spoken during those days as a common language among the Jews and gentile. Just as English is spoken in modernity. in many countries and nations. The KJV is influenced by the Jesuits ordered by King James and has Catholic influence. FYI English was not a spoken language during the Bilical times, so you stand corrected. Ancient Hebrew and Aramic, Greek was the original language during those days that would have been spoken. The NASB is based off of Koinonia Greek and Hebrew and was translated by Jewish scholars. All scripture is inspired by God through the Ruah ha Kodesh. Verse by verse both translation are conveyed in the same way and have the same message. The Bible in it's original format is Jewish, written by men inspired by Hashem. Furthermore, I gave credit to the version I quoted from so that if anyone looks up the verses such person(s) would be able to find the verses in their own translation Bible and see that it comparatively the same.
Why are you quibbling over insignificant matter, orare you quibbling for the sake of quibbling. Unless one is studying the lexicon of original text written in ancient Hebrew "the Tora scrolls" then it's not truly pertinent which translation one reads. What matters is one should read the Biblical version that one is most comfortable reading and is easy to render meaning and comprehension to the one who is reading it.

Which book of C.S. Lewis are you reading from? Please clarify...are you directly reading word for word what Lewis wrote or are you taking clips and remaking it into your own teaching? I've enjoyed your channel but this particular video seems so out of line of what I normally hear. Thank you.
So, what is by Lewis is written in the name of the book, at the beginning if I'm not mistaken we used one from the book The Weight of Glory as the basis for everything else. It's not all from his books.
