- I spent most of my twenties envious and jealous of the happy couples around me, constantly wondering why that wasn't happening for me yet. Why am I still single? Why does no one want to date me? Why have I not found a partner yet? These thoughts used to make me really sad, until I realized the importance of being single.
Understanding the beauty of being single and the positive impact this time alone can have on my life, totally changed my perspective on being single and how to be happy being single. That doesn't mean I don't still want and dream of a happy, loving relationship...but this thought process has really helped me find peace with where I am at in my life.

Just wanted to throw this one out there as a person who is in a relationship. I totally agree with this video but IF you find someone that you feel like you have a real connection with.. don’t always allow your resilience about staying single to discourage you from what could be a really great relationship. I wanted so badly to maintain my independence and singleness as long as I could so I didn’t commit to my partner as soon as I could have. But gosh, I’m so happy and sure I was a different person 5 years ago when I met my partner but I’ve grown so much WITH my partner and that’s amazing too. The pros of being in a relationship are the cons of not being in one and vice versa. Feel good in whatever “stage” of life you’re in because you never know when someone will surprise you ☺️

Single for 7 years
I'm male 30 age and all together I had only 4 to 5 relationship in the past all of them cheated on me, so it's now very hard for me to trust a woman. My recent relationship with my ex she persuaded me for a relationship but I was not interested as I was hurt from that past but then again stated a relationship with her and she also betrayed me again was having physical relationship with her ex. Now I'm all alone and working for my goal. I'm not going to allow woman in my life, until God decides.
I'm sorry you've been through that, it sounds like a lot. Love that you're taking the time to focus on you, your life, and your goals. I truly do believe that time to yourself helps you build the confidence in yourself to know you're choosing the right person when the time does come. Rooting for you!!

couldn’t agree more, love is the ultimate feeling, we all want it, but finding the right love is the key! and i have found that that all starts with me, personally.
