Step 1: Listen to 15 seconds of video game music Step 2: Guess the game Step 3: Have fun :) Intro & Outro "Night Shade" by AdhesiveWombat • AdhesiveWombat - Night...
WOW! We just reached 100.000 views! Thanks to everyone who watched, commented, shared and liked this video. I appreciate it a lot and hope you had fun watching and guessing! ❤
I just watched three of your videos with a friend and we both agree: this is so far one of the best channels for video game quizzes. Please keep up the great work :)
I knew a few of them plus i had a a good feeling about this quiz because the second "Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" started playing i knew what it was imediately, great content
Nice quiz, I only have one remark : Screenshot provided for Megaman 2 is from Megaman 9. ('Cause the boss displayed is Magma Man, from the 9th installment)
Oh wow, you're right. How embarrassing. I tried to get a relatively high res image of the wily stage, but somehow I must have clicked too many times within the image search to end up with Megaman 9 😅 It's sometimes really hard to get a proper in-game screenshot, especially with all the remastered versions and all, but I still prefer them to cover arts.
18/43 are Nintendo, 8/43 Mario. I'd argue that Nintendo has some of the most iconic video game music and long running franchises like Mario Kart, Zelda or Pokémon, which are also known by non-gamers. But depending on what you grew up with, you might be right that it's too Nintendo heavy for your taste. I'm a SNES kid. Other quizzes have too much shooters and anime games for my taste, which is why I started making my own. I also made an actual "Mario's music quiz". You can find it here: czcams.com/video/1mGyYXZFPlQ/video.html
supermario bros, pokemon, elder scroll oblivion, diablo 1,crash bandicoot, gta san andreas, plant vs zombie😂;thats all i know i know about indiana jones theme song, but not its game version
To be fair. Most of the tunes used are used in different games or other places such as the Zelda tune yes is the great fairy fountain and also the file select theme in a majority of the games or gourmet rice from Kirby is used in other games.
7:44 Imagine you hear that song and the first thing in your mind is "8-bit Dance Party". Greetz to @adriansdigitalbasement And just to mention it: 8:07 is the town (Tristram) theme from Diablo 1. Of cause it plays also in Diablo 2 (in Tristram).
There is one mistake, the last one the fairy fountain theme ist actualy from the Legend of Zelda: a link to the past and not from ocarina of time but its much moor known from that Game
Well yeah it was first used in A Link to the Past, but it is used in nearly every Zelda game following A Link to the Past as well. The particular version I used is the one from Ocarina of Time, which is why I credited it to Ocarina of Time. You'll notice the difference when you hear both versions, although the difference is of course smaller than the one between A Link to the Past and the BOTW version. That being said, using songs that are used throughout a game franchise is always a bit tricky. I usually try to use the one that sounds best, is maybe more iconic or fits the year. For example I used Viridian Forest from Let's Go Pikachu/Evoli instead of blue/red/yellow in one of my other videos. Also, I actually thought about doing a "Original or Smash Bros" quiz just for fun but idk if anyones would care about it ':D
@@multipogopuschel9131 "Also, I actually thought about doing a "Original or Smash Bros" quiz just for fun but idk if anyones would care about it ':D" I WOULD !!!
Yes, I have several quizzes without Nintendo music at all. My latest one about indie games obviously has none (czcams.com/video/Visop13e2rE/video.html) and I also have others. Check out my channel page and look for "pc games" , "coop pc games", "indie", both point & click adventure quizzes, and both GOTY videos have no Nintendo except for Zelda BOTW because it won GOTY. Also this one has roughly 40% Nintendo anyways, but I can see how it might feel different, especially if you don't watch the whole video.
Was it epic though? Just kidding :) It of course depends on what games you personally like to play, but I tried to choose a lot of tracks that are even known by non-gamers and which are used excessively in other videos/quizzes. Sometimes you even remember the song but not the respective game. I hope you still had fun though or found some interesting music and games to look into!
I took it from the Diablo 2 soundtrack, which is why I credited it to Diablo 2. However, I just noticed that it's actually the same song. They didn't change it for Diablo 2. So I guess we're both right :D
It's actually 18% Mario and 42% Nintendo :P I also have other quizzes without Nintendo music, especially all of my indie quizzes, point & click adventure quizzes, a pc games quiz and my GOTY quizzes only have BotW for example.

Ok, for having Command & Conquer in this quiz, you folks have my undying admiration. That was amazing.

Guys, you should name it "Mario's music quiz"... Realy, too much Mario and nintendo exclusive games in 2+ parts

Before 0:32 i was screaming pokemon (: (never played pokemon or zeldia before)
Didn't even 1 second to pinpoint cnc and battlefield 1942. So so many hours on those games.
So weird to not get my ears blown off my head from the CSGO theme
Haha yes! A friend also told me that it's not loud enough, although it is louder than the other music. Sorry for that :( :D

monkey island is such a good game
Yes! It's one of my all time favourite games ❤
Extra points for putting yoshi's island right after san andreas :DD
