@@KyleWelcher True on casting accuracy. Always amazing to watch (even better to be in the boat and watch) people who really know how to cast. I only know two other guys that can work a frog that well. One is a pro and the other is a guide on Lake Fork.

That pointer about tweaking the hooks out really increased my confidence in throwing a frog. There’s been such a stigma in my mind about throwing a frog because of how many missed hook sets I’ve seen from numerous anglers over the years. You really are doing such a great service for all of us with this series. Thanks so much brother! And sorry I’m late to the show. On vacation this week.

I agree with you that baits is the wrong way to think of fishing. If you focus on what bait the other person is throwing and catching them on, you will lose focus yourself. You may skip over a pattern that will work for you trying to figure out what is working for them.

I really appreciate your style of fishing! I always pretty much followed how and where I wanted to fish just how you explained not long ago how you learned pretty much everything yourself and in my opinion that's where the best fisherman come from.. when you explain and break things down everything just makes sense! Have you thrown the new Scum Frog Launch Frog? It has owner hooks already rigged right. I have been loving this frog this summer. Thanks for putting me on K9 line. I picked up some fluoro and I noticed it was better for crankbaits than for plastics. I can’t seem to get a good hook set on the line. But, i love the price! Thanks dude!!

I do not believe in colors in frogs either. That's why I always throw a white one so I can see it.
