Absolutely surreal experience - this one in concert. Saw them in OKC right after this. It's among my top shows ….and I've been to a WHOLE LOT of shows in my 54 years.
Man... I so want to see this tour.. I had the pleasure of seeing the Melon Collie tour in the 90's. It was so astounding to hear these now classics played live again! The band sounds as good as ever in this construct! I'm overjoyed!
WOW! as a fan since '94, I must say they sound as good as ever. Really good. such a shame they are missing a member. you can't hear it though. As a musician, i couldn't imagine letting an opportunity to play at that level slip through the cracks, no matter what personal or professional issues there may be. Really... personal stuff is meaningless after staring into the endless void.. money isn't everything... Most of us wont ever get such an opportunity in a lifetime. . just makes me sad is all.. maybe she will reconsider someday i know many of us fans would love to see it before we are all actually old and dying. Life is REALLY fucking short. .. writing this from my hellish dead end job in no where land 'merica. be well Pumpkins and fans past and present. today is the greatest day -Nerdo Nofriendo
This is the best performance I've seen from this concert so far. They should just do Gish songs! Seems like Billy still like them, maybe because they haven't played them in so long unlike the bigger hits.
Olympia Lowlife same, really wish she was involved but it seems as if she is erasing herself from everything Pumpkins. Even removed her facebook page after she got into it with Billy and you'll notice that in all of the video clips she is not used much, however i did see her in the background of the adore clip and the siva clip where she has flowers over her eyes. I get why they tried not to use her but it still sucks when you're so used to seeing her in the videos.
She's not there and she didn't accept Corgan's offer. Why should they show her? The fans there know she is not there. So it would be so weird to show her face.
I think they omitted her for Legal reasons, Since she refused to play on the Tour, she also might have refused to have her "likeness" shown in video or on T-shirts ect. If they had shown her without her permission she could have sued them for a lot of Money, or she would have to be paid a "performance royalty" for Every show she appeared in.

They sound pretty good here - some of the other videos of this gig I found the playing a bit lacklustre. Maybe with this song there's no need for the crowd to be particularly 'involved' and 'engaged' so the song doesn't suffer perhaps.

Weather she had a fault in the past or not, they should be including her at least in the video on the projection screen. I do not know, but yeah that is just my point. And the fact that she tried to sabotage this reunion just reignited Corgan's grudge. That being said, there could also be legal reasons. If they showed her likeness they may owe her royalties... which, i suppose does go back to the bitterness lol. Its a shame that things turned out the way they did. Everyone wanted to see the original 4 on stage together, but it seems it wasnt meant to be.
Rhinoceros is from GISH, I don't really stand they removed photos/videos of D'Arcy on the display, she will always remain a part of SP and of the band's history, it's a lack of respect!! FANS WAKE UP!!
