It was at the point if he'd have seizures if he drinks too much or not enough. Eventually we all told him he can't go on doing this shit, it'll kill him and I told him there's no way I'm burying your ass! I hope in the 9 months your brother has gotten better? Unfortunately he went into hiding shortly after that Bernie sanders show after being ravaged with accusations of sexual misconduct from his fan base 🤢 very sad situation. He’s a gifted man with a message to share but he struggles with his own demons and past and heritage.
This song always reminds me of my 3 brother the 2 younger ones cry out for their older brother and he doesn't ever answer doesn't help their struggling with addiction families not tight right now but it'll get better
😭 such a beautiful song. I lost my mom to suicide 7 years ago. I'm 28 now and wish I could call back my mother. My memories of her have faded and I don't like talking about it but you bring out the feelings I think about daily. I have become someone I wish I wasn't. Nahko can take some really easy cords and make them extremely complex. His technique is absolutely amazing and beautiful. If you haven't listened to "We Are On Time" during his Skype Studio session it is a must. Simple cords...but when he put BEAR magic on it sounds like 3 guitars playing beautifully. We are blessed to have Nahko & Medicine For The People. Took my 9 & 10 YR daughters to their first concert in Redmond, Washington this summer and they left crying so happy. Nahko came down and hugged them during his last song....they even made a sign for him. Nahko has changed our lives. THANK YOU NAHKO!

Thank you for this song I lost my older brother 2 years ago. He was my best friend he was my protector I always felt so safe when he was with me. He struggled with heroin use and homelessness incarceration for 25 years. I always tried to prepare myself for the day I would get that dreaded phone call that he was not longer on earth with me. He had such a beautiful soul he would help a complete stranger. After he passed I gave up on life for awhile. I went through psychosis last year. He looks similar too you. That I for real thought he was reincarnated into you. I would watch all your videos and I really thought it was him. I ended up going to a physiatric hospital for 2 weeks. I finally came out of it after about 4 months. Thanks to the great spirit. I’m doing so much better now. I thank you so much for sharing your soul with us all you got me through the toughest time on this earth. God bless you. Come to San Diego please so I can see you perform in person.
