About the zombie skins. Those are inspired from the "Blackest Night", an event in which a villain owns the black ring, a ring like Green Lantern's one but instead controls Death. The ring has the power over death and the villain reanimates deceased superheroes and seeks to eliminate all life and emotion from the universe.

Fun fact: Raven is a member of the Teen Titans with Cyborg, Starfire, and Beast Boy. The Robin who leads the Titans is Dick Grayson, who eventually becomes Nightwing. There are multiple different Robins throughout the history of Batman comics, each one having different fates. Pour one out for Jason Todd, who got beaten to death with a crowbar by The Joker.
Man we totally missed out on Teen Titans. Raven and Starfire both stole the show in this game 😃

Jason Todd does die but is revived as the red hood, a villain for the Batman, nothing but a mark of imperfection on Batman's career.
The 'Evil' Batman is actually the future batman suit from the 'Batman: Beyond" series. It's awesome and if you do not know it it is a must watch. Intro kicks ass.

Lobo is personally my favorite, I usually main him back in the day lol.
Lobo is the last Czarnian race, in which he basically commits genocide by unleashing a plague of "flying scorpions" and then he became a bounty hunter just for fun of killing. For what how strong Lobo is, he is superman-levels of strength, easily traded blows against Superman or even Wonder Woman, and he has an insane healing factor, giving wolverine a run for it's money in terms how effective his healing factor, and he cannot die since he was literally banned from heaven and hell in the afterlife.
Fun Fact 1: Lobo really likes space dolphins/dolphins.
Fun Fact 2: Lobo is Stan Lee's favorite DC character.

Night wing is Dick Grayson he used to be robin with along Batman. He wanted to do his own thing and stop working with Batman and became nightwing

Hawkgirl is definitely one of DC’s most underrated and underutilized characters they ever made. She was great in the Justice League animated show. (Donna Troy is another severely underrated character, but she not in the Justice League games)

Fun Fact: Some of the characters who you didn't notice shared the same voice actor/actress. Like Harley Quinn and Raven (Tara Strong), Shazam and his nemesis Black Adam (Joey Naber) and Nightwing and Sinestro (Troy Baker). There tones of them but I wrote the most suprising ones to me.

Dick Grayson - Now goes by Nightwing. His Robin color scheme is the brightest out of all Robins, his colors are black, red, green, yellow. His Nightwing logo is that of a bird that appears in either blue or red. His main weapon is Escrima sticks which generate electricity on its end.
Jason Todd - Now goes by Red Hood. His Robin is more black and red with minimal yellow and green. As Red Hood, you'll see him sporting a red helmet and wearing a brown leather jacket draped over his version of a Batman suit with the bat logo being in the red. His weapon of choice is guns.
Tim Drake - Now goes by Red Robin. His Robin is more red and black and yellow. He is the only Robin who retained his Robin color scheme when he rebranded himself when he grew older. His Red Robin logo is that of a head of a bird in yellow. His primary weapon is a Bo Staff.
Damian Wayne - He is the current Robin and yes he is the son of Batman with Talia Al'Ghul. His Robin is red, black, green, yellow, and he is the only Robin who sports a hood. His primary weapon is a sword. In the Injustice universe, he assumes the role of Nightwing after he accidentally killed Dick Grayson but in Injustice 2 he went back to being Robin.
NOTE:
There have been different variations of the color of the Robin costumes with these 4, but I mainly provided the costume color wherein they can be easily differentiated and the colors where fans mainly associate them with.

Worth noting, Damian didn't actually go back to being "Robin". He was still Nightwing in the plot, it's just that he was in the game as Robin in flashbacks - the game's equipment system lets you put him in his Nightwing Outfit, and even unlock a weapon that gives him the Nightwing moveset, but he still uses the Sword for his intros, clashes, and Super Move.

1. She had the shortest tenure out of any Robin, only lasting a few months
2. She's a girl and comic fans be sexist

A note about the Nightwing from this story, as I have already seen other comments explaining that Nightwing is Dick Grayson, a former Robin. Spoilers warning for the comic about this game:
In the comic story that comes before this game, Superman is tricked by the Joker into killing Lois who was pregnant with Clark's child and also set off a nuke in Metropolis at the same time. The death of his love, his unborn child, and his home city (and also like half the Teen-Titans) causes Superman to lose it, and he straight up puts his whole arm through the Joker's spine. From here, things take a sour turn as Superman decides he's had enough with "not going far enough" and decides he's no longer concerned about killing criminals. As things get worse, he eventually goes to Arkham and starts rounding prisoners up for execution. Batman shows up with his son and current Robin, Damian Wayne, and runs into Dick Grayson at the prison. They try to talk Superman down (Batman is in his usual, "Do it or I'll punch you till I'm tired" mood) but Nightwing is the one who is actually making some headway in calming the situation. So of course this is happening in Arkham Asylum and all hell breaks loose with inmates everywhere. All the heroes start fighting and during the brawl Damian accidentally kills Nightwing. Throws a kali stick at him, Dick wasn't prepared, and he breaks his neck on a rock when he falls over.
Bruce isn't able to forgive Damian, saying that he killed his real son. In the Injustice game, it is Damian Wayne who wears the Nightwing mantle now claiming to honor Dick's memory. I think it's guilt.

Also the Yellow Lantern at 14:18 is the Hal Jordan of the Earth created in the comics that goes with this game. Sinstro was the one who trained Hal Jordan as a Green Lantern then left the Green Lantern Crops and founded the Yellow Lantern Corps (aka the Sinstro Crops) which their ring is powered by Fear.

Alright. All the questions you asked, though others have touched on this.
Nightwing: is robin, but a retired robin (Richard Grayson, aka Dick Grayson). The Robin here is batman's biological son, Damien Wayne (Son of Talia Al Ghul, Daughter of Ras Al Ghul also known as the Demon's Head, leader of the League of Assassins). Dick prefers a staff or shock-enhanced escrima sticks while Damien usually uses his 'grandfather's' sword. Dick follows the bat's no killing rule, while Damien sometimes walks the line pretty hard and occasionally crosses it, much to Bruce's grumbling. And yes, Dick and Damien have come to blows on MULTIPLE occasions over a difference of ideals, but the one thing they can agree on is 'batman is an asshole' and 'he's also worthy of respect'. Both of them have taken up the mantle of Batman on occasion when Bruce is MIA or unable.
The 'evil bat suit': Isn't actually evil. It's a biointegrated cybernetic powered exoskeleton, also known as the "Batman Beyond" Suit, which is the last suit he wears pre-retirement until the fight with superman. (Spoilers). Eventually gets worn by Terri Mc'Guiness, Batman's 'clone' of a sort but there's more to it than that, engineered by Amanda Waller, the former head of the Cadmus Superhuman Institute, one of batman's old enemies. Amanda eventually switches sides when she realizes 'the world will always need a batman', so when she notices Bruce starting to slow down and ageing, she begins a project codenamed "Batman Beyond" to ensure the world will always have one...
Evil supermans: Alright... This one's complicated and long, so I'm gunna gloss over it. The first one with the black suit is Undead Superman from the Black Lantern Ring storylines (also known as the 'Darkest Night') , the second is Cyborg Superman from the Death of Superman storylines. Not gunna give more spoilers than that. As you can guess, Hawkgirl also had a Black Lantern outfit.
Green Lanterns: Hal Jordan and John Stewart, both of whom are fairly interesting characters, though inhabiting separate realities in most (but not all) storylines.
Appreciate you filling us in more. Even though they’ve been touched on before we can always use refresher courses so the material sets in 😊

That wasn't evil Batman, it was Terry McGinnis. In the future, when Batman is old, he passes the mantle down to Terry and Terry becomes Batman Beyond. And Nightwing is the original Robin. He left Batman after he got tired of him and became Nightwing.

So yes, Nightwing was the very first Robin, Dick Grayson. After he got tired of working with Batman and wanted to do his own thing he became Nightwing. And you can still use "Kung-Fu kids" since Injustice is made by the same people that made Mortal Kombat vs DC-11. Also when you get the chance you should definitely react to either funny intros for MkX, 11 and Injustice 2 along with the clash dialogue for Injustice and Injustice 2. Some are hilarious and good references to the comics and movies. Hopefully if you do play through Mk 9-11 or Injustice 1 and 2 that we can go along with your journey because NRS are really good with their writing and direction with the games.
We do plan on playing both with everyone which is going to be fun. 😁🥳

Idk if someone told you here before but I’ll just point out. The different costumes are from either:
A. Other timelines in the Injustice Lore
Example Yellow Lantern and Green Lantern
B. From comics
Examples: The classic suits, The Zombie ones, the NEW52 Suits and most of the others
C. Movies and TV shows:
Examples: Man of Steel Zod and Superman. The Green Arrow from Arrow (a suit that changes the character’s in game voice from Alan Tydik to whoever played him in the CW show) and the Batman Beyond suit.. from the 90s show.
D. From other games.
Examples: Arkham Ciry costumes for Batman, Catwoman, Harley and Joker. In our case, those are the suits that you saw for Harley and Catwoman.
Also there are examples where different suits are used to put different characters in. For example Nightwing has a “Regime” suit which is from the story mode, and that’s a different character. Damian Wayne.
Superman has the “Cyborg Superman Suit” who is a different character.
Green Lantern has a John Stewart suit (who is a different character)
Also some suits affect the endings and intros. Example:
The regime suits are from the story mode, where a lot of heroes are evil. So regime Superman will have an intro and an outro where he is a dictator. Yellow Lantern is the Green Lantern from the injustice world but evil, and his outro changes.
Hope I was able to clear that up.

Zatanna is the daughter of magician and justice league member Zatara Zatanna. She one of the world's foremost magicians only next to Doctor Fate who is her superior. She can do pretty much anything as long as she says it backwards or writes in her own blood backwards. She is human but has no magical limits to speak of unless you count her constant reliance on her voice. She inherited everything from her dad who she had to kill twice, once because it was his last wish as he was protecting his daughter from a summoning gone horribly wrong as he literally took the fires of hell onto himself willingly, the second time was during the black lantern crisis aka Blackest night as Zatanna was forced to banish her father into hell as the only means of stopping him. It scarred her mentally. She is currently part of the Justice League Dark, a more secret part of the Justice League that handles more occult and esoteric threats, She is often called upon all across the globe to handle magic problems or people need some guidance on old texts that contain spells or things of magic nature.
She sounds fascinating and we’d love to see more of her 😃

Injustice was my introduction to Mortal Kombat which I now love! I played it so much as a young teen and such in middle school and high school, and I played Mortal Kombat for the first time last year since I finally moved away from my overprotective Christian parents even though I was an adult and still wasn't allowed to play in their house XD. These games are so fun!

Nightwing was batman's first Robin (in most versions he has multiple)
His name was dick Grayson and after being by batman side as robin for a couple years he left to pursue a solo crime fighting career and adopted the new name Nightwing

I couldn't find a comment about this, but wanted to acknowledge first that their might be one and I did not see it. Anyways. I wanted to comment that the different looks you are seeing are in fact "cosmetic skins" in the games. Just like all other games with cosmetics you can buy and/or earn within the game, they do not change the powers or function of the characters at all. It seems that whomever compiled the video you watched was a big fan of the "Darkest Night" skins and chose to use them for the winning characters most of the time in their video. I wish they had not 'flexed' like that and shown them with their original skins as that would have way better in my opinion. But, there you have it. Better late than never. I hope this was informative in some way and not just a repeat of another comment already said. Love your videos. You two are amazing and make me smile every time I see you interact on screen. :-)

During the watching of the video, very sweet and awesome to funny reaction to the supers, intros, and victory. ^^ Also the skins here are DLC, so all the Zombie skins are Blackest Night from Green Lantern series, and others based on other video games, comics and movies. So when Ken says "Demon Batman", it is actually "Batman Beyond"

In the comics there has been five main Robins. The first was Dick Grayson (the most famous one) and first appeared in 1940, he later became Nightwing and operated as his own hero in Blüdhaven. Jason Todd was the second Robin and he was more violent than Dick, he grew up on the streets and attempted to steal the tires of the batmobile, impressed, Batman made him the second Robin. Jason would be brutally murdered by the Joker in the Death in the Family storyline in 1988. In 2006 Jason Todd was resurrected as the murderous anti-hero Red Hood and is often at ods with Batman over Batman's no kill rule. Tim Drake was the third Robin and was the greatest detective of all of the boy wonders. He discovered the identities of Batman and Nightwing and convinced them to make him Robin. He would later become Red Robin. Stephanie Brown was the daughter of the villain Cluemaster and would become Robin after Tim left the role but this was short lived. She is better known as the hero Spoiler and was even Batgirl for a while when Barbara Gordon was wheelchair bound. Damien Wayne is the ACTUAL son of Batman unlike the others. Damien is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul, and thus the grandson of Ra's Al Ghul. Damien was trained from birth to be a cold blooded Assassin and when he was 10 he was given to Batman by Talia. During Bruce Wayne's "death" Dick Grayson became Batman and made Damien the fith Robin. There was another female Robin called Karey Kelly who appeared in the Dark Knight Returns story but is not canon.

Red hood (who’s in the sequel) is another former robin, Jason Todd, who Batman thought was brutally beaten to death by joker. He survived, but hated that Batman let joker lived so he took a more extreme approach by killing criminals

The second Robin was Jason Todd, who was troubled and disagreed with Batman's no killing philosophy so much that he tried to kill the Joker himself, but got captured in the process and the Joker tortured and beat him to death with a crowbar. Alternatively, he lived and become the vigilante "Red Hood"
Third there was Stephanie Brown who was the first female Robin, who went on to take on a couple different aliases
Fourth was Tim Drake who also took on his own alias as "Red Robin"
And finally, there's Damian Wayne, Bruce's own son and current Robin

Im not seeing people telling her who nightwing is but hes the first robin before red hood(the one you thought was deadpool) red robin and the newest damian wayne. Also alot of the costumes are from other worlds,timelines, or characters.
Funny fact: The huge guy called solomn grundy is based on a old nursery rhyme it goes like:

Edit: Also the purple guy is actaully named "Parasite". He's one of supermans most dangerous enemies. He can drain energy with a touch, including humans(killing them). Which is why superman is always careful when fighting him, as he is basically powered by solar energy, so if parasite gets hold of hom he could drain his power and leave him vulnerable
