    Just what it says on the tin, some low level items you might not know about in Pathfinder 2e.
    I credited all the artists that had their names attached to their artwork that I could find. If I didn't credit an artist with a name, it's because I couldn't find out who drew that particular piece of art.
    All artwork belongs to Paizo (except the stock flipper image), and was taken either from the publicly available artwork block or their books themselves.

    And in case anyone asks, no, I bear no ill will to anyone in a wheelchair. If anything I hate that so much stuff in my town is not wheelchair-accessable or that the city infrastructure is too cheap to shovel the sidewalks downtown so I had to push the wheelchair through the snow. OBVIOUSLY I don't blame people in a wheelchair for BEING in a wheelchair.

      Obviously helping out wheelchair-bound people as part of your job is rewarding, but getting up and down those hills in the snow to reach that one part of the building that is wheelchair accessible. . .

      At our facility, thankfully, most of the important stuff was on relatively flat ground - but I felt horrible for dietary! They had to deal with "the hill" three times a day!

    The Dusty Rose Prism is not from the Core Rulebook. It is from the Pathfinder society guide (pg. 120).
    One quirk of this, though, is that all pathfinders have access to the aeon stones from that book (including the dusty rose and the pearly white spindle, which heals you 1 hp/minute and makes getting to 100% hp a lot easier). And since all Organized play characters are pathfinders, these show up everywhere in PFS.

    Traveler’s cloaks can be made to protect against either hot or cold weather (I.e. there are two versions). They are uncommon, so you need permission, but it makes sense if you are in or near an appropriate environment.
    So there you go, a hot-weather version of winter clothes.

    To clarify, there is normally no item level limit on starting treasure, nor is there a suggestion to enforce one. The lump sum option at higher levels, however, does have a manditory item level limit of character level -1.

    • @PsiPrimeProductions1
      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Sometimes. Pathfinder society limits you to item level equal to character level. But I mostly stuck to low level items because anything higher costs more than a level 1 character could afford.

    worth mentioning that armored skirts can also be used on a character with heavy armor proficiency who, for flavor or mobility reasons, wants to lean into dex, to make a suit of half plate into a +4/2 suit of heavy armor that only requires a +2 str to wear. perfect for that warpriest of cayden cailean who wants to lean into finesse weapons. and while i'm here, could we get a talisman review? i would love to know which ones you think are worth the investment

    • @PsiPrimeProductions1
      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Huh, you're right. Didn't really realize how armored skirts could be used in that context. Thanks. Talismans: In general, I find Talismans too expensive and too much trouble for 1-use items. Spellhearts on the other hand . . .

    Content like this is fantastic given how difficult it is to parse through the thousands of items in the game. I know that there are tons of items that would serve my characters very well but I don't have the patience to parse through everything on Archives of Nethys. Content like this is greatly appreciated and I'll definitely tune in if you do higher level versions!

    The swim fins do nothing as written, because your swim speed is based on your land speed...so when you take a -10 penalty to your land speed, that means you take a -5 penalty to your swim speed.. which is then counteracted by the swim fins. So as written, they have no net effect on your swim speed. Obviously that's not the intended rule so it requires some common sense interpretation by the GM.

    • @PsiPrimeProductions1
      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Even more technically technically, there is a chart that shows how fast you swim based on your land speed. Reducing your land speed by 10 feet for, say a standard human (base speed 25) nets you the ability to move 5 feet on a successful swim check (or 10 on a crit success). If you add 5 to the move for swimming (due to the swim fins) then you are back to where you started EXCEPT you now move 5 feet on a fail/crit fail, so they still work . . . kinda sorta . . . even if your GM is being a pain about the rules.

    7:53 FANTASY!!!!! Also, just because "renaissance" gets thrown around as something this is LOOSELY equivalent too does NOT mean that there won't be things that "don't fit the era" since it's a FICITIONAL, FANTASY world that did NOT have THE "Renaissance"!!! I mean, Golarion has robots and aliens, and ALIEN Robots!!!
    Also, also, MAGIC!!! Whether an item is magical or not, Magic WILL have a PROFOUND impact on things that are invented!

      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před 5 měsíci +2

      It's not as ridiculous as it sounds. Armor weighs a lot, but it turns out it was designed to be as mobile as possible to let their soldiers do their killing. check out this video for some feats a guy does in full plate! czcams.com/video/q-bnM5SuQkI/video.html
