I am not sure who gave the first two comments but you know the task in front of you and the performances so far are not promising. Put this behind you and treat every game like a final. This is what you came in to rugby for so now go and prove the majority wrong. YOU are the answer to the problem.
Not a great look for your captaincy when you talk up taking 'confidence' into the game in the huddle then go out and get thumped by 50 points. How are you supposed to put much stock in what the captain says after that?😵💫 Either he has no clue where the team is at, compared to the other team, or he's just trotting out meaningless management buzzwords.
It was not their best team you helmet, a lot of that team were fringe players who are now not in the 33. It was to see if they could step up to go to the rwc.
For the benefit of other readers who don't seem to understood the problem here, it makes no difference how close the team was to Wales gun XV. A good leader does not tell a team they should be confident of getting a win and then getting beaten by 50 points, regardless where the team is at. This should be obvious. It's difficult to put stock into a leader who gets judgement calls wrong by such a wide margin, like where a team is at compared to the opposition. This isnt just a slagging off excercise here. I want Wales to have decent leaders, and he's either completely misjudged where theyre at, or he's just saying stuff for the sake of it, like buzzwords. Either way, its not a great look.

What's he supposed to say? Well boys I know this is a combination of 2nd and 3rd string Welsh team including some 1st caps against a full strength experienced south african world champions team so let's go out and get thumped ?? Jesus wept.. meanwhile same boks team go on to smash a strong all blacks team ..
