This is a good reliable car. The 1.0 t-gdi variant is relatively fast and nice to drive. Good value for money.
I'm surprised the uk version of the car misses out on rear air con vents
Hi Pavan, a good point. Sadly with our weather in the UK, the need for air con is not as important 🤣
I own a 4 month old 2018 i20. Its a small and reliable car. But it could have a little bit more power. Sadly after a bit of offroad session with my car i am greeted with some rattles from behind and I dont know where its coming from. Also the plastic in C and D pillars are not perfectly solid. But for the price its pretty good in other aspects.
Actually its funny how these over 4 meter long "super mini" cars are called small, its actually bigger than the MK1 Ford Focus and same size as the CrapWagen Golf V, so its by no way a small car!!!
@@M.S-Musicthats why it’s called a super mini. People always get that wrong. Super in terms of supersized.
driving it for the past 3 months. Not exciting to drive but comfortable and spacious
Thanks for the feedback Pune 👍 its great to hear from an owner. Would you buy it again and have you found it for value for money?
@@OsvUkVehicleSupply yes indeed. If I need a car in this class I would recommend it to anyone
I don't understand what he means by it having a narrow power band. Technically, it can be shown to be far wider than a non-turbo engine. I bought mine 2 years ago to replace a Fiesta (6th generation 1.4). Even with the same power to weight ratio, there is no comparison in performance. While the Fiesta was gutless low down and frantic at the top, the i20 just quietly gets on with it. I have the 7sp DCT version so the effect is probably as close to behaving like an electric motor as a combustion engine can get.
The immediate impression after the Fiesta was that the i20 felt like a much more expensive car - quieter, a much better ride and a more solid feel. As for the comments about the steering, an immediate difference was noted but as the Fiesta had 50% tyres and the i20 has 65% tyres, it might explain some of it. The i20 scrubs the tyres more on smooth, open bends but is more accurate and less upset by bumps on country roads. The only thing about the Fiesta was that it had better seats.
Thanks for your feedback, David. Are you looking for a new car at the moment?
@@OsvUkVehicleSupply Thank you for your reply. I am not looking. I was just commenting on your review.
I have a 2018 1.2 i20, very spacious and good car!

You wouldn't think an i20 to be over 4m, look at the mini and how that's grown!
Doesnt this guy speak English
Trio of passengers! Try saying 3 people. It's quicker.
I got my new i20 2018 today am happy looking forward to summer. ❤🥰
