Apostle Raw ...Praise God bro. Soli Deo Gloria!
Lol facts bro happens almost every time
Can anybody tell me where I can find the "9th wonder I made it" instrumental/beat?
This album got me through summer school in 2016. I played it every day while I was in summer school and it was the first album I heard by him
Been on this tape for 5 yrs now, still doesn't get old. That intro beat with Bob James is incredible!
Word.
Same here!
FACTS
Still here
I can't remember....i might be a time traveller.
man this my jam, i just turn this on and play video games..
+Lucid Soundz aaaaight a max of relax this combo...
+Lucid Soundz You have to listen to the video game music and to the video game dialogues when you play! Except if you play sports video games, how can you play and listen to other music ?
well you don't HAVE to listen to the game music or the dialogues. just put on subtitles and turn tv volume down. I do it all the time. doesn't just have to b sports games
Lucid Soundz and I am jamming and ramming it up making up my Saturn 690B playlistism to get sponsorship for a wonderful life partying at home with ALL my homies laughing at all the psych phonies. Love the phonics in free flowing slowing rhythm is out of the isolation and wish to share it with others and begin anew not askew...Dj Lush McEvil 🐱
u forgot to tell u smoke a big ass weed joint
I am a 43 year old backpack/indie Hip Hop fiend. I have been true to it since before a lot of you were even alive... not trying to front on anyone, but that is just the way it is.
To anyone that is saying this is garbage or sampling shows a lack of talent have no idea what they are talking about. This is about as true to the essence hip hop as you can find today.
Ric Flair well said Ric Flair.....myself am 44 now and 45 this summer.....all true hip hop is sampling,,,,of anything and everything.....Schooly D back in the day sampled everything....we sample quality music from all genres and mix it to make new music....AKA---- Hip-Hop.................
Ric Flair thats just the waaay it iiiiis.....things will never....be the same
Wooooooooohhhhhhh!!!!! (bounces off the ropes, does the Flair strut, drops a knee on imaginary person)
Ric Flair I'm 42 and have been a true Hip-Hop purist since 1983. 9th Wonder is my favorite Hip-Hop producer along with Premier, J Dilla, RZA, and Nujabes. Along with Q-Tip, he is a master sampler. He's so flawless and smooth when he incorporates classic Soul and R&B to his beats. 9th represents Hip-Hop culture to the fullest and shows respect to all those legends that came before him. Hip-Hop today is lost and needs heroes like him to help the culture find its way back to the world and everyone's ears.
DiverseCity415 Indeed, Fam. Q-Tip's 'Drink Away The Pain' beat for Mobb Deep is prob my favorite beat of ALL TIME
And Madlib, when he is in hip-hop mode, is untouchable.
27:34...........WHAT IN THE FUCK..... THIS LIFTED ME TO A PLACE I RARELY BE AT....
My first beats for 9th wonder were from Minstrel show back in '04 for me,then my world changed.got most of his project artists from little brother, buckshot, rapsody, joe scudda, fast forward listening to this in '15, this music is food to the heart.Reppin you from Kenya.
the song about 17:00 min and the song before are exactly the music that I Love!!
My art teacher when I was in highschool played this out loud while we were doing a project and til this day I still listen to it👌🏼
Your art teacher is a goat
This is getting me through the workday right here.

16:59, this beat just made me cry. I just found myself overwhelmed with emotion, this beat for some reason makes me think of all the friends and family who have passed on from this world. It's good to remember.
Real Hip Hop, real feelings.
9th Wonder is definitely up there with Premo and Pete Rock!
9th, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Dilla are the best beat makers of all time.
onoshedidnt100
Agreed!
onoshedidnt100 don't forget the alchemist
Dei-Von Palmer
Alchemist literally fuses a lot of different things. He's definitely a genius in his own right!
Yeah
bless your soul for reuploading this gem
13:37 that sample is almost haunting the way its pitched but sooo dope. I always knew we would meet someday.
Very happy right now.
The sample is actually only slightly pitched up. The vocals are sung by Japanese Children. Stevie Wonder played most of the instruments.
If i ever was to hear a beat so good that i stopped breathing i'll know its a 9th beat
1:39:26 *I wrote for and recorded to originalneedsoul. My lyrics touched on getting out of a relationship with a woman due to promiscuity.* czcams.com/video/lInWPL4W8rM/video.html
PhylSexySelf is so 80’s it actually hurts. One of the most laidback beats on here.
The first beat is like yooooooooooooooooooooooo!! This is jamming!!
I'm sorry but the vocals on MontClear 34:12 produce eargasms... I will never forget the first time I heard the track... The way the strings intertwine and exchange conversation with the vocals and the classic 9th drum pattern. God is good. #ThankGodFor9th
BRUH I FEEL THE SAME WAY FUCKIN FACTS!!! I was hoping to find a comment related specifically to this track and here it is 😂😂
GOD IS LOVE
I think I just found my favourite piece of new music...
OH MAN,,,9TH WONDER MAKES ME WANNA SAMPLE EVERY OLD 80'S PATTI LABELLE TYPE SHIT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, THIS CAT IS GENIUS
My favorites are as follows.
1. ReetaGirl (11:48)
2. Naturalinmotion (30:09)
3. MuchBetterSoul (31:20) Heavy inspired Pete Rock joint, baseline is TOUGH!!!!
4. I/EyeKnowItSoul (57:40)
5. ChantmentReal (1:00:59) Drum track & sample chop is crazy meshed together!
6. FreakEcstacy (1:25:25) Absolutely LOVE the way 9th chopped and put together that Curtis Mayfield sample!!!!!
Thanks for getting this back up online!! Love 9th. Especially beat at 27:35...another hour to go!
I'm guilty of sleeping on a lot of 9th's catalog over the years. First time hearing this and what a masterpiece.
Btw, is the beat at 54:51 not the most bangin' vibrational voice sample you've ever let your ears have the privilege of associating with ?...It's been 2 years and still, every-time I hear that shit I just lose it, physcologically avoiding bopping my head to this shit results in a coma or somethin. Just so beautiful.
***** Definitely will my bro !, cheers for the recommendation !
Enkore BRUHZ i tried. result is seizure
Yup, pretty much...
+Shady Rager hell yeah!!!
+Enkore BRUHZ 9th is a boss bro!
I remember ordering The Listening from overseas in 2002 or 2003...9th Wonder put me in a zone of deep concerntration and constant elevation...just like Premo, J Dilla, Q-Tip, Pete Rock, and Large Professor...he is just amazing with those instrumentals ...he makes great rappers sound invincible on his beats!
I was gonna rap to this but it's just too beautiful
1:21:59 Jesus Christ that Beat
I don't hate trap but I will not miss it. God bless hip hop and those who truly keep it alive. that goes for all of the fans too. Ride high folks.
1:39:26 *I wrote for and recorded to originalneedsoul. My lyrics touched on getting out of a relationship with a woman due to promiscuity.* czcams.com/video/lInWPL4W8rM/video.html
@H Man Producers used to be more important but nowadays beats get more and more cookiecutter. I like some new producers but cookie cutter trap is not it. Trap beats can be done right though they need to get carried by a good melody and sampling.
brings back good thoughts and good vibes in a time of self doubt and struggle. Great mix of soulful vocal chops over thick beats. big up to u 9th wonder for the Invigorating, healing, and deeply personal beats you put on this album.
That kick of Nautiluschop
Oh lord..
+cd257 IKR....Real nice chop and sound....
That shit is fire. I damn near cried driving my car.
Thank god you had this on your phone before it got deleted, you saved us a beautiful beat tape! Thanks for sharing brotha, much appreciated!
DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, Apollo Brown, J dilla, Gramatik.. best beat makers ever
Nujabes
my hand
Daniel S Ali Shaheed
Daniel S Apollo over Madlib and Pete Rock?
Daniel S You forgot Battlecat, Dj Quik, Pete Rock & Count Bass D.
If anyone is familiar with Add-2, he's signed to 9th's label and raps over a beat with the same sample as "AscensionHaSoul" that is very dope called "Club Church"
38) BarbershopSoul - 1:38:11
39) OriginalNeedSoul - 1:39:25
40) HiltonJaySoul - 1:42:13

JR Kinard wats the name of it
Nunu Pope nautiluschop
The head bop evoking nature of this tape makes it SUCH a nice soundtrack for productivity
Banging absolutely banging. Brilliant stuff. Please never stop making music.
Track # 27:30 is my absolute favorite !
That sh.. is fire 🔥
i played this in a party and everybody was jumpin going crazy and buying more drinks at the bar.....this shit is sick
The first beat makes me emotional........the feeling is like stealth yet endless possibilities...like being up late on a summer night knowing anything can happen yet everythings still....jus justified intensity
🔥🔥🔥Fire as always. Much love from NC.
Scarface would be perfect for Number 7 "Someplace To Go". I opened a tab and roughly synched one of his acapellas ( I think it was from "Never") Damn, its like the track is MADE for him.
The Marvel is too sick.
