Illinois Needs To Show Up This Year, Gabe Needs To have His Best Season, He Has The Tools, I Hope He Puts together A more Than Solid Season, Luke Has Got To Be Better ,I Really Don’t Know If He Has What It Takes, I Hope He Does, But He Has A Great Group Of Receivers And Has Got To Get The Ball To them, Or Unfortunately I Feel It’s Time To Move from Him, I Really Feel That The Illini Are In For A Very Tough Year, They Really , To Me Didn’t Get A Whole Lot Of New Talent, Maybe I’m Wrong, I Am Really A Fan Of Brett Beliema, I Want It To Work, I’ve Been A Fan Of Illini Football Since The Mike White Days, I Loved Tony Eason, Jack Trudeau, Jeff George, Oliver Williams, David Williams, Mikel Leshore, Dana Howard, Simeon Rice , To Name A Few, Let’s Get A Few New Names In The Near Future To Remember… Go Illini… I’m Still Waiting For November, My Prediction For The Football Side Is 5-7

Thanks Jimmy! I think 5-7 would be barely acceptable, but no way can we win any less than 5. I think we're all counting on a jump from Luke this year and while I certainly think he is capable of it, I can't sit here and say I am confident it's going to happen.

We should realize by now that early 2025 commits mean nothing. They can change until the last minute. Kids aren't going to truly commit until last minute when they are basically being drafted to college or wherever or whatever better option they have. We also now know that the first place a kid goes to may not be the next place they go. In fact, there ain't going to be many multi-year players at one school anymore. Coaches need to develop relationships and pick them up whether they come initially or later....don't burn bridges.
