One thing I never got about this film is how Robert Deniro's character isn't proposed as a CEO prospect when they are looking.
From personal experience, investors want a CEO who will be loyal to them, not personally linked to the company founders/personnel.
It's because he's retired. Yeah he was working again as an intern, and he was picking up more responsibilities as the movie went on, but that's got nothing on the duties of a CEO.
Investors prefer if the new CEO can survive a few years... Ceo's have heart attacks more than any profession(percentage wise) and they aren't as old as he was shown here.

This movie clearly shows why fathers are needed for
Not father, but a mentor. A father can be a mentor but they don't know everything. A mentor is someone who has done something similar to what you're doing and found success.
Society today does a bloody good job of showing why fathers are important, but for that to happen half the world needs to admit that they do in fact need a man more than a fish needs a bicycle 😂
And we wonder why so many girls are braindead these days, I would hazard to guess most of the ones crying about being oppressed had male teachers they refused to listen to 😂😂
@@mrdude88 Yeah, any asshole can be a father.
A great movie! I can watch it over and over again. Too bad there wasn't a sequel.
This movie already sounds like a sequel of Devil Wears Prada
Many times, what makes a good leader is a good assistant who knows how to structure it all.
Like a brick wall, you may be able to lay brick on brick without mortar and it'll stand for a little while, but it's fragile and easy to knock over, add some mortar and the bricks become a building that can stand for years.
Guess if she'd divorce him, she'd had to pay him alimony, probably lose custody of the child (since the father was the primary caretaker), and child support. Clever girl.
Best ever feel good movie to watch!! Brilliant actor and actress 👏 South Africa 🇿🇦
Watching this recap earlier this afternoon got me interested in watching the movie in its entirety. Pretty compelling.
A brilliant movie and even more brilliant recap :) Thanks
The older I get the more I enjoy movies like these...
Yeah same
Your mind slows down...
This is one of the best drama/wholesome movies I've watched in years.
The thing about the recap is that I miss deNiro's performance
Yeah! The salt and pepper were missing.
A real Ben would never had worn brown shoe with a dark suit.
😅😅
Navy blue suit w/ a nice brown pair of shoes is classic 👌🏾
0:06 I love that movie
This is one of my favorite movies. Not groundbreaking, but just good.
Great movie.
Feels great 😊
Amazing how they show cheating as not a deal breaker it ALWAYS is a deal breaker for any sane person.
I like this movie. It's light hearted but still enjoyable and wholesome.

recommend this movie
Such a good movie!
A sequel would have been so easy and fun.
It's Ay-Ayron!!!
I have a suggestion whee Bobby could go and what he can do when he gets there.
Its more than a movie for me ❤️
Perfect encapsulation of Hollywood's priorities: Boss babe should always put career ahead of family, women are superior to men (men portrayed as Beta, simps and cheaters), and getting rich in business is easy (we never see the CEO lady struggle before reaching high success.
Bro.

Grandpa solved the problems.
Some inaccuracies in the recap, which jarred.
The movie sounds like Sequel of The Devil wears Prada.
Yep
What is the name of the movie, is it too hard to include it in the description 🤔
The intern
The Intern is the name of the movie
""They taught him how to thrive in a dynamic environment." 😂🤣🤣🤣Ah, the ol' "thriving in a dynamic environment" spiel. So, what's next? Are they going to teach him how to juggle flaming swords while tap dancing on a tightrope during an earthquake? Sounds like a real resume booster!
How Deniro escaped the Weinstein ordeal amazes me since the trysts occurred at his restaurants.
How someone can just forgive infidelity like that is beyond my understanding.
What is this movie?
The Intern with Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway. Nice low key movie, both stars do a very entertaining job. What I liked best: it showed the generations learning from each other about navigating the workplace, and what each generation (statistically) does best.
The Intern - Ann Hathaway and Robert De Niro
7 years old
is that guy BLAAAKKE
Everyone entrepreneur needs someone like that to alleviate some of the weight off their shoulders. Most employees expect their bosses to make their lives easier. I’ve interviewed so many people that have no idea what it means to work.
Who are interviewing? Are you not doing ANY pre interview screening? Are you utilising a panel interview? Are you looking at relevant experience on resumes and checking references?
Another thing - if you expect an EMPLOYEE of your company to work as hard as the person who OWNS the company, you are delusional. An EMPLOYEE has no stake in the company, not generally. Gary Vee says this in one of his talks. CEO's or owners of a company who expect their employees to care more about the company and work harder than the CEO are completely in the wrong.
To your whole "expect the CEO to make the employees lives easier" point - well, yea. Do you want to improve productivity? Do you want to improve workplace relationships? Do you want to increase profits? Do you want to reduce staff turnover? All of these things have been proven to improve when the CEO ACTUALLY takes an interest in whether the lives of their employees are fulfilled. Not just at work.
I currently work for a multi-billion dollar company that has an extensive staff benefits scheme and above average pay. The staff turnover in my sector is a little higher than others, only because of the work we do. It's pretty intense. However, I've met hundreds of other employees who all agree - you won't find a higher paying job or a job with a company that has more benefits. We get above average PTO every year, and the management team I work with are all really great people to work for.
Get your head out of the boardroom. Actually give a damn about whether your staff enjoy working at your company. It might cut down on those useless interviews and even having to interview people at all.

This movie makes me feel bad for DeNiro working as actor and awkward because the jokes
Please what's the title of this movie pleaseee
Did you even watch the recap? At the 0:04 mark it is clearly presented ...
THE INTERN 2015
That husband was a total D, hate how we just excused his cheating in the end, and even made it her fault. Tch 😒
so that's what happened after Devil wears Prada
We don't need that one in charge.
He definitely derailed that marriage at the end if you actually think about it. Otherwise it was a pretty good movie
Chatgpt at it again.
Once a cheater, always a cheater. I’m MGTOW and believing that this applies to both men and wnm. Once rotten, an apple can never become fresh again. She should have moved on.
Not the CEO😮
This is and was a nice movie.😅
Never accept an apology from someone who cheated..
Forgive and let go for inner peace
De Niro is chill AF.
If only companies would hire "over qualified" men...
For the caliber of DeNiro & Hathaway the Ai voice sucks. No emotion, flat, dull, no spirit. Another reaction used Ai voice that was even worse so at least your standing on someone's head. I've seen the movie, it's quite charming but Ai voice use is just lazy & reveals what about you?
Why husbands always leave job saying happy to sacrifice for wife and family and then suddenly starts feeling inferior as wife success to run her carrier and out of jealously and inferior complexity start affair blaming wife for his disloyalty and betrayal as if she asked him to jump beds as she is busy. Hypocrite bastards and conveniently comes when get caught asking frgveness which stupid silly wife who still love him frgve him . essence of cheater husbands morality which has become common in this modern age. Same goes vice versa. Love 😂😂😂bullshit just a commodity to ease struggles of outer world.😮😮😮😮😮😮
Hate these AI voice narration 👎
😮😮😢😢😢😢😢😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
awesome
Great actor but a rectal itch for a person.
what is the point exactly of a recap? if you tell everybody what happens wtf would they see the the film. sounds like a scummy way just to make money on youtube.
