Townes played for me many times at Poor David's Pub Dallas, was scheduled to play with Steve Fromholz Jan/1997..but he passed away...as did Steve this year.... He would have been pleased with this version. Well done!

David that is so heartwarming. I met Townes several times through his friend Hobart Taylor, in the 90's, and he always stayed at Hobarts when in San Fran, where I lived way back when. I have played this song in every venue imaginable, and people always just melt over it. Thanks for sharing.
