The Albatross is my absolute favorite bass fuzz and you are right. It makes you commit to your playing. It's inspiring you to play and compose new licks. Makes you record bass lines that are not the typical "did my duty" so afterwards I can remix it digitaly. Uhmmm, how to put it... It's an instrument on it's own like in the good old days when musicians started to play fuzz boxes. Oh... And if you plug an active bass in it. You will rediscover the instruments eq, it just blends in with the pedal with endless new possibilities.
I absolutely LOVE Kasleder Fx. I own their Toxic Twins, and King of Stone. I dont have any of their bass pedals yet though. The Toxic Twins is my favorite guitar overdrive. Fantastic company
@@SubSonicEctomorph I've seen it , I bet they are playing through a crazy expensive ampeg or mesa though, take the Harley Benton and play that through a cheap ampeg rocket bass combo with no pedals and see how that goes😁
And how are we supposed to record that without a computer? I do not have a tape machine 😉 We’re using a very basic interface. There’s nothing really fancy about our setup. I’m making sure to record in a way that can easily be reproduced on a small budget
@@scottbulizak7636 there's not much different between an expensive bass and a cheap bass. Sound is in the hands of the player if the bass and amp are in any way decent. It's 2023

I have a 3 leaf audio proton v4, would absolutely love to put this fuzz before it.

The jellyfish sounds really really good and I really like that clean blend concept. I may have to look into one of those
