1955-58-61 scenes of Port Dover Harbour and Baseball Game

  • These home movies were recorded by Percy Brown, 1st secretary-treasurer for Elliot Lake, and provided here courtesy of his son, Art. The 8 hours of films were digitized to DVD by a friend of Art's. The original quality of much and the digitizing, are poor. Tragically, the original films are long gone. Art came to me to turn the DVD contents into MP4 files on sticks, and graciously gave me permission to upload edited versions to my youtube channel.

    Its very powerful when what I do deeply 'touches' some people who say thanks for sharing.
    But it's Percy Brown and his son Art who deserve the most thanks.
