      a lot of people are waiting for it, however project most likely will be delayed due to politically motivated European and US sanctions against Russia. Because of these sanctions russian Luna 25 mission got delayed and with it whole Lunar base project moves right as well. But the bright side of this is that russians and not only them now can see who really are independent and can be trusted and who are just a puppets.

      @@cappermenv1845 about loosing war it's disputable, Russia is loosing it mostly on most trusted news channels like B-B-C or C-N-N while most of the Ukrainian channels and even their ministry of defense are more skeptical. The delay itself was caused by denial of supply of some micro schemes and withdrawal of incorporated ESA systems. I think now that it's clear that there can't be any serious cooperation with Europe and America, Russia will replace those technologies by domestic or chinese

    To be fair, Chinese space station is well engineered: it has half the pressurized volume of the ISS with just a quarter of weight, has the same electricalg generating power and very efficient ion thrusters for attitude control. BUT, and this is a great BUT, space stations in Earth orbit are a dead end, micorgravity research is so-so with people floating around, satellite maintenance is all but impossible,, they are worthless to support interplanetary missions. ISS will have no successors, because West is moving toward moon exploration and settlement. And China has no firm moon plans.

    • @industrialrobot434
      @industrialrobot434 Před rokem +11

      China space program goals are actually planned out in advance already, and they do it step by step. So to find out their plan, you just have to go thru China's scientific long term goal documents (5 year,10 years,even 50 year ones) and see for yourself. Unfortunately, no one translates those stuff lol

    • @industrialrobot434
      @industrialrobot434 Před rokem +10

      Don't you know that China has a plan for everything it does? China plans every 5 years and improves all the time. China plans to build a station on the moon in 2045 with Russia, but it's unknown if NASA will be able to go without Russia.

    • @ex0duzz
      @ex0duzz Před rokem

      USA has banned china from ISS and also banned NASA from all cooperation with any Chinese national.
      So it is a 100% necessary step for China to go further with manned missions. They need to be able to walk before being able to run. China's next planned phase is a moon base. First it will be unmanned, with cargo etc sent first, after drones and orbiters have selected a good site to build the first moon base. China has a drone on far side of the moon and has put drones on close side along with a successful lunar sample return mission years ago.
      China had plans to do the moon base mission with Russia, but it seems like Russia will have some difficulties with competing their moon rover missions, since they were supposed to send rovers to the moon in turn, one for Russia then next for China, and repeat until a good site for permanent base has been located.
      China was meant to find a base site by 2025-2030, send supplies snd required infrastructure to welcome manned mission in like 2035 and keep building until 2050 maybe. That was the previous goal and timeline. But since USA announced their Artemis plan and timeline, China has sped up their plan, with 2027 hopefully already a site selected, and then build build build from there. Even if it's not finished, it will be so interesting to see the progress of a permanent moon base for hu,amity, whether it's Chinese or American led. Cooperation is good but so is competition. They can do both like USA did with Soviet Union. Right now USA thinks China is not advanced or strong enough so no point to cooperate, since China will be learning from USA one sidedly. China just needs to build another 3-5000 nukes and USA will never say another word about war vs China or Biden "accidentally" claiming usa will defend Taiwan and then the Whitehouse immediately walking it back every time it happens. If doesn't look good when Biden himself doesn't apologise or restate what he really meant then. It might feel good for the US to play the Taiwan case against China but to the world USA just looks bad and meddling with China's internal affairs and taking sides in an unfinished Chinese civil war. Just like Ukraine, just like Middle East, just like Asia, right off China's coast everyday with its spy planes and spy ships USA is sticking its nose where it shouldn't be and is likely to cause more war and tensions everywhere USA exists. Now USA is building 4 more bases in Phillipines, to have more navy in South China Sea and China's front door. USA is playing a dangerous game. It would be akin to China having bases in Mexico and canada and South America, and Chinese spy planes and spy ships flying and sailing 50km off USAs continental shores, spying in everything they can. This is what USA currently does against China, and also selling weapons and trying to stop Chinese unification with Taiwan by basically any means necessary. They block chip sales to China, target Huawei and every globally successful Chinese company, and afterwards they expect China to help them with Ukraine against Russia and other things, lol. USA has lost the plot. If they wanted a chance they needed to do this but do it 10000x stronger and they needed to do it 30 years ago or so. In the last 30 years China went from India with nothing, to 5x India size and having the ability to build everything domestically, including the core tech for even advanced tech like 5g, jet engines, EMALS capable carriers, Mars rover, own space sterile with ion thrusters, 5th gen aircraft, China is far too strong to try and use force now. Both economics lot and militarily. Economically, China is even stronger than they are militarily. China has already for a bigger GDP in PPP terms, and they overtook USA back in like 2017. So USA economy is based on printing paper while China is based on actually making and selling shit that everyone needs and wants, it's easy to see who's more important for the global economy and the world itself in general. One builds while the other bombs and destroys.

    China is the only country in the world that can independently build a space station. It is also a socialist country and a developing country that can independently build a space station. This feat is a feat that even the United States, the big brother of capitalism, and the most developed country, the United States, have not been able to accomplish. Now whoever is strong and who is weak has been eliminated. The United States still wants to threaten China through so-called sanctions and oppression. In addition to harming the interests of the United States, this will only make China stronger and more independent. Become prosperous and powerful, and eventually become the leading world power.

      China has never been a leading world power in 5000 years.
      Let me know when China puts a man on the moon, which the US did 80 years ago.
      To achieve impressive feats, China has to do something that has never been done before, such as landing a man on mars.
