- What a year it has been! As 2023 draws to a close we chatted to some familiar faces from around the railway to find out their highlights of the year.
Naturally no end of year episode would be complete without a few outtakes to round it off!

This production deserves many awards in its own right. I’ve enjoyed every single one of them.

MHR is becoming a favourite. Took our Grandson this year for a ride behind the 7F - and a footplate trip. A new fan for life! Keep up the great work everybody and thankyou for everything. (Recommend being a member - for the magazine alone it's worth it!)

Congratulations on an amazing year, you never know I may be lucky enough to have a visit later this year, a tour of the workshop would be great for an old railway boilermaker. Regards Ray.

I work at Tanfield railway i have to say a huge props to you people at the watercrest line we just have Tank engines no tender locos.
