You should change your chain case oil every season or every 5000 km

This good if you looking to check gears, but to just change oil there is a plug by your foot and one underneath by the track.

Good lighting for the video, I'll use it. With all of skidoo's R and D they should research and develop a drain-plug. Holy buckets!

I put 12oz of oil in my chain case. Will I hurt anything or will it be fine? Hearing lots of different opinions. I’ve got a 2006 Ski Doo 800 rev.

4 Season Bros so you just loosen the bolts and let it flow out and make a mess? Just picked up a 2013 renegade 800 and wanna be able to do all this myself. Thanks for the info

Very helpful! Don't undertand why there isn't s simple drain plug, bizarre! Looked up in a service manual and notice you're supposed to tighten down the chain case in a certain order to 89 lbf-in? BTW is your coolant tank filled to the top? Found that odd, they're usually self levelling near the seam at the bottom aren't they?

The whole battery being ruined on the cement idea is very outdated. Batteries made today are not affected by sitting on cement. Years ago batteries had shells that would absorb moisture and could destroy themselves. Now, batteries have non absorbing plastic cases that can sit on cement all day, every day without any issues.
