I believe the problem is that no analysts takes the time to watch international games before evaluating international prospects. If you stick to highlight reels, you easily get a onesided and incomplete picture. This for sure happened with Doncic, as it did with Nowitzki back in the day.

Booker has never been a winner. Great scorer ala Kyrie, but also like Kyrie, he isn't the alpha/leader of the team. Needed CP3 to actually reach the post season. Before that he was winning like 20 games a season. And when CP3 gassed out against the Mavs, Booker didn't do sht when he should be the one carrying the team especially in that close out game. Luka on the other hand is a proven winner. He has carried the Mavs to multiple post season appearances and loves the moment... I mean to average 38-9-9 in 4 elimination games is crazy. I believe the problem is that no analysts takes the time to watch international games before evaluating international prospects. If you stick to highlight reels, you easily get a onesided and incomplete picture. This for sure happened with Doncic, as it did with Nowitzki back in the day.

Shooters like Booker are great but if they are cold, they will be a liability. You have to be able to attack the basket, post up, pass, etc. So if your shot doesn't drop you can help in multiple other factors.
