If you kill someone being pk, the loot will be protected for 3 minutes and only their party will be able to pick it up, it is a good thing if many blues chase you, leave the loot there and come back for it later
They're moving stuff between cities to sell them or use them to profit. Caerleon the city in the middle of the Royal continent, has a black market. Where you can sell gear to the market for decent prices at times. Sometimes ppl are just moving gear around as well and gankers target them for their loochies >:)
