Hey love! After the cake is baked how long do we wait until we can cut it/flip it into another surface😪 i made a mistake and it got all mushy at the bottom
Allow to cool completely before removing from pan. I prefer to wait the next day to cut (refrigerate but wrap with Saran Wrap).
Which non dairy ready to whip whipping cream did you use please? I’m having a hard time finding info. Thanks

Hi, I did not freeze them. The Saran Wrap them then refrigerated overnight.

If so I used my spongecake cupcake recipe and doubled it. I replaced vanilla for strawberry extract for the strawberry cake.

I’ve used a sponge cake recipe similar to yours and when I cut the number it’s not a smooth cut. It’s crumbling.was your cake like that too or do you have any suggestions?

Hi, these are regular cake so I baked at 350F for 18 minutes but that’s because I baked them in two separate pans for the two layers. If only baking in one pan and cutting into two layers then you’ll need to bake for 25-30 minutes until toothpick if poke in cake comes out clean.
If your referring to sponge cakes then 330f for extra 5-10 minutes depending if your baking two separate pan or one.
