Love seeing that old plus out there!!!!! I still have my 93 Plus X, and a 88 Plus- honestly the 521 engines tunnel ported, timed, decked with 44 is still no joke even today! But the 93 still is the sexist machine ever in my book! Something about the red windshield and shape is just so sexy!!!!
I had a 340 Kawasaki Invader. My buddy went out and bought a brand new 5000 cat. I raced him almost every day and he was always 3 or 4 lenthes out in front for the first 1000 feet. After that it was a complete no show for him. I beat 440 gpx with pistons pipes and carbs 9500 skidoos, snow twisters you name it. Top end and handling were excellent. I twisted my speedo cable off three weeks after i got it on a back road running the cops. The fastest it ever read on my speedo was 97 mph and my buddy on the yammy said he was doing 125 by his speedo and estimate. Ps i never lost against the 440 Kawasaki invader either.
I just pulled out my 1989 mach1 that I dropped a 521in, I rebuilt about 10yr's ago.Have gutted can on it so it's stinky loud lol.Just drag raced a 2005 mxzx 440 and blew the frigin door's off it bad.I looked at the kid after to race and said not bad for a 27yr old sled hey bahahahahahahahahahahahhahah I'd love to see how fast the old girl is.
