I have recently pivoted my career from fashion to tech sales. As much as I enjoy watching background videos, I can’t stop guessing each employee’s salary based on their job titles. The fashion industry is one of the stingiest industries.
It’s a field filled with people who wear fancy clothes and fancy titles but receive inadequate salaries, especially those at the entry level, where career progression is very poor.
I do hope Sheerluxe is paying its entry-level employees a standard wage that allows them to afford living in London.
Agree. And in the UK its so much hierarchy imo. I used to work in the UK for periods (I'm Swede) and in the beginning I was shocked by it, all the fancy titles (with low salaries), but to what purpose..they always had to ask the mgr for permission doing basically anything anyway. Could never work permanently in such a culture. When having a more flat organization (and not all those fancy titles serving no purpose), people are not only able to get more equally paid, but what happens is you work towards something together as a group, support eachother and there comes the freedom with responsibility, you are able to make decisions on your own and with that you grow as a person.
Indeed… the hierarchy is real! I lost passion for this industry 😂😂😂

Getting married is my fear! Getting divorced was the start of freedom and a better life for me and my daughters. I grew as I had never before as I gained confidence while I was single. Each to their own I suppose but think women on their own are so strong and not influenced or compromised. A show on that would be great.

If there is a topper on a mattress…the protector should always go over the topper which in turn is protecting both the mattress and the topper. It makes sense. Everything is protected then 👍🏾

I love a lunch and not an eve - somehow people get tired and unless it is a very chilled place near home with a dear friend forget it. It is so nice to wind down after your eve meal and watch CZcams of course and have a hot shower and relax in bed before sleep and finish any little jobs around the house you need to do instead of rushing.
You were in DC.that is one of my favorite restaurants. Always booked ❤

The reason you have a mattress protector is to save your mattress from your perspiration. (I know, pretty disgusting) but over the years you’ll be surprised how stained it gets even if you’re a cold morsel in bed.
