I drink a lot of equate chocolate drinks and eggs, soft foods etc. Thank you so much for advice!! About polygrip. I've seen another video on "secure" adhesive . I will try them both. :) I appreciate it so much!!

Glsd its going well for you. First couple of days is uncomfortable but bearable, compared to loose & rotten teeth.

Cushion Grip was discontinued for a while and I am almost positive they brought it back because of customer demand. I was able to order it last week on Walmart.com for $10 a tube. I feel you 1000% about covering your mouth with your dentures out. You couldn’t pay me enough to go out in public without my teeth. I got my dentures when I was only 35 thanks to drug use (heroin) (I have been clean for nine years)! Actually the thing that got me through it being traumatized for getting dentures so early was the fact that there were many videos on CZcams with people younger than me who had them. That was a wonderful support! This stuff is the Holy Grail of denture adhesive. Trust us on this y’all.😎😎👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Iam here 5 days after all teeth removed and immediate put in. Uncomfortable, not at all used to them. All that good stuff! Lower so sore I had to take it out till I see dentist this afternoon to have it adjusted. But this gives me hope that we get used to it & it becomes natural! Heroin for years and then methadone for 4 years is the reason all my teeth(that were left)had to go as well. We do recover 💕

Amber Gray yeh, I take mine out often cause the pressure and tightness on the gums is way way too much to deal with! Are you getting both lowers & uppers? Lowers are the worst but you can train yourself to deal with it. Least I’m hoping so! Lol
@@primallight2731 , I like your positive attitude in being with dentures in so young age. I got mine with 40. At first full upper and 2 years later full lower. I never did regret getting full dentures. I have them 17 years now and still dont need adhesives.

Thank you for the advise. I have implants for my bottom but didn’t have enough jaw bone for the top. So I got the ultimate fit for my top. I get my permanent ones Tuesday. I’m worried but excited . Wish me luck.

I lost my teeth almost a decade ago, from a medication I'm on, for life, that causes severe "dry mouth". So far, one has been able to fit my dentures properly. I went from a beautiful woman, to a neanderthal over night. I'm VERY EXCITED to try this product, it looks so soft:) Thank you.
I'm getting full immediate and dentures in a few weeks and permanent onece the 3 month average ones are ready once my healing is complete, I'm sure your beautiful regardless but I know exactly how you feel, a lot of women tell me im so cute and handsome with my dimples and face but if they saw my full mouth open smile I'm sure they never would date me ha ha, thankfully soon I'll at least have full white teeth and I'm keeping it secret until I can afford implants, most of us today at least here in America have these issues not because of drug use but because the dental industry is so expensive mosy people won't go because they can't afford it and apparently having a full set of teeth to chew food is considered "cosmetic", it really is criminal but the insurance companies spend a lot of money so nothing changes sadly. Just got impressions and am supposed to see an oral surgeon to have the remaining broken teeth removed. Ive been so depressed, but your videos are helping me feel like its going to be ok. I only just got my upper denture today after ten weeks of healing from extractions, no immediate and what a time not being able to chew. This tutorial was very helpful as I thought I would have a better fit but my denture shifts some when I bite down. How often do you remove old and refit? And it doesn't hurt to soak in cleaner overnight. I'm new to all this. You're handsome and with a beautiful smile

I had my first realign done last week of my upper. It's not a permanent I Get my perm in april but Ive had these since last year in May. Now when I put them in I do not have to use any powder or adhesive at all. I'm scheduled to get my bottoms in the coming months. Those are the one's I dread the most . Maybe one day I can afford couple of implants top and bottom and go that route but at my age I probably wont unless I hit the lottery LOL
Used this stuff for the first time a few days ago. WORKS GREAT, but it is very hard to remove from the denture. It does not peel all off, comes off in pieces, and it is very hard to remove the Cushion Grip from the inside front of the top denture.
Try soaking in extremely hot water for 3 mins at a time, then try removing the cushion grip. Takes multiple times with this method to get it out. Ill be trying out new ways for removing it and can post what I come up with :)

I’ve had an awful time adjusting to my upper denture... I still have bottom teeth. I had all upper removed last summer (June 2020) and life has been miserable ever since. I was sized for the denture about 6 weeks after I healed up. Had denture by August, but haven’t adjusted to wearing it at all. It’s now February 9, 2021. I barely wear it, so I use a virus face mask instead. When I do put the denture in, I always remove it to eat. (Is this odd?) I know that can’t be normal, but here’s why. The full upper has that stupid piece that covers the roof of my mouth. Well, it just so happens that the roof of my mouth is required for enjoying the full flavor of food. I can’t taste properly when the denture is in - and it has nothing to do with denture glue. I had no clue that my flavor for food would be restricted by getting an upper denture. The only way I can enjoy a meal is to remove the denture. It’s no easy task trying to chew either. It’s very small bites, but I savor each and every tiny piece. I’m not sure what I am going to do. Dental implants are not within my budget, so I suppose I’ve made a horrible decision that I will have to live with the rest of my life. 😰😰 I am 48 years old, so still a lot of living left to do - and a whole lot of chewing - or lack there of. 😰
Thanks for the videos I’m just wondering are your denture the economy or premium? I’ve had my top done some years back they fit great. Just got a new set for top and teeth extracted for bottom both of my new are temps I bought the ultra flex dentures but my temps are economy since they are temps that what they give you until your ready for the perms. I know the economy don’t fit as good as some of the more costly one’s .My bottoms dentures are cutting the crap out of my mouth I can’t be seen for another week. So I put off my appt with my clients at work . I hate telling them I had dental surgery I don’t want them to know I have dentures when some of my clients are much older and don’t have dentures.
When you first get your plates, they fit nicely. I have had mine for a few years, and you have some shrinkage of your gums and face. This product can hold you over till you get to the dentist, and get new teeth. My dentist asks over three hundred bucks for a reline! Ow!
To anyone thinking about getting extractions and dentures, think long and hard. I've been through 3 sets of dentures over ten years and every set (made by different places) has caused gagging. Many have no problem but if you have even a slightly sensitive gag reflex, your life will be hell. Just being honest.
I have a terrible gag reflex. So much so that it made the dental work I was having done before I pulled the trigger immense uncomfortable for me and difficult for the dentists and hygienists. I have no gagging problem with my immediate s. I did with the first few insertions but eventually my body decided they weren't going to kill me. I'm 17 days in.
Mad props to you my dude! My lower denture has caused a sore and I was hopeful to find something that might ‘raise’ it just a tiny bit. Do u feel as though this would help me out? I like the way you explain everything. However, it would really help to have the camera pointing at your dentures from your perspective. We don't see anything that you are doing, from how the camera is facing.
I am just like you.I have been using cushion grip since I have a lower denture that really needs an adjustment. I have my own top teeth so far so good.Have you found that you can put the cushion grip in too thick? I loved your method of rolling it in your hands and then placing the cushion grip inside your lower denture.👍
Thanks, I just had my top teeth removed and most of my bottom teeth and looked up the best denture adhesive, this product is in the top 5. I'll be buying some. But my ? is do I have to do this every morning ? Or does keep the dentures in for a few days? So I can just brush in the mornings. thanks
I have a question. I've had tops and bottoms almost 2 years.got 6months til I'm able to get a reline for my bottoms and boy do I need it. I can't keep them in place for long. My mouths super salivary and the paste turns to mush and my mouth dissolves it. When I'm eating it's moving alot so I usually take it out to eat or apply a gawdyly amount. I guess my question is should I just use this product or a soft reline kit? I don't want the dentist to see any visible damage so I'd need something removable but I need to create a seal with my bottoms. I feel like even though I planned on smiling more and being more outgoing I'm still self conscious and uncomfortable bc to the outside world they see a girl with normal teeth but to me I think how can they not tell or what if my top pops up while I'm talking..I just need to know what I should be using to keep my bottom inplace. If anyone has insight I'd appreciate it.i don't want to go to like Walmart or the pharmacy and buy something that made it worst

I would like to ask too, how does it hold whilst eating ... can you chew well with without it loosening? My current fixative is fine until I eat or drink anything warm or hot as it warms and softens the fixative and your teeth become loose. Is this product easy to remove afterwards? Thankyou. Update: Doesn't seem to available in shops in the UK other than on Amazon and Ebay, but at ridiculous prices like £15 - £20 for a small tube ... I wonder how much this costs in the U.S.

Takes some getting used to, in order to perfect the application. And an adjustment needs to happen when we develop any type of sores caused by our denture. Hope this helps :)
This is my first fime trying this product. And I just did a reline it's not the best but should I take the reline material out before the cushion grip or should I apply the cushion grip over the reline material? Thank you for the videos they help tremendously!

It varies from person to person and isnt uncommon to bleed for literally a few days after extractions. Just continue using gauze and bite down to help create blood clots. Best wishes for a speedy recovery
I actually use and prefer the generic equate walmart brand in the pink and white box when using an adhesive. It comes in zinc, and zinc free versions as well. Cushion grip is great for around 7-10 days, then needs to be removed and reapplied otherwise it becomes difficult to remove. Hope this helps

I love this stuff but here lately it has not been sticking when I take my dentures out the cushion grip will try to come with it
I’ve had an awful time adjusting to my upper denture... I still have bottom teeth. I had all upper removed last summer (June 2020) and life has been miserable ever since. I was sized for the denture about 6 weeks after I healed up. Had denture by August, but haven’t adjusted to wearing it at all. It’s now February 9, 2021. I barely wear it, so I use a virus face mask instead. When I do put the denture in, I always remove it to eat. (Is this odd?) I know that can’t be normal, but here’s why. The full upper has that stupid piece that covers the roof of my mouth. Well, it just so happens that the roof of my mouth is required for enjoying the full flavor of food. I can’t taste properly when the denture is in - and it has nothing to do with denture glue. I had no clue that my flavor for food would be restricted by getting an upper denture. The only way I can enjoy a meal is to remove the denture. It’s no easy task trying to chew either. It’s very small bites, but I savor each and every tiny piece. I’m not sure what I am going to do. Dental implants are not within my budget, so I suppose I’ve made a horrible decision that I will have to live with the rest of my life. 😰😰 I am 48 years old, so still a lot of living left to do - and a whole lot of chewing - or lack there of. 😰
Thanks for the videos I’m just wondering are your denture the economy or premium? I’ve had my top done some years back they fit great. Just got a new set for top and teeth extracted for bottom both of my new are temps I bought the ultra flex dentures but my temps are economy since they are temps that what they give you until your ready for the perms. I know the economy don’t fit as good as some of the more costly one’s .My bottoms dentures are cutting the crap out of my mouth I can’t be seen for another week. So I put off my appt with my clients at work . I hate telling them I had dental surgery I don’t want them to know I have dentures when some of my clients are much older and don’t have dentures.
New denture wearer here. Week 5. Just used Cushion grip for the first time. Don’t think I used enough. I used way less than you.
When you first get your plates, they fit nicely. I have had mine for a few years, and you have some shrinkage of your gums and face. This product can hold you over till you get to the dentist, and get new teeth. My dentist asks over three hundred bucks for a reline! Ow!
Takes some getting used to, by trial and error we find our individual amount necessary to get the proper fit :)
To anyone thinking about getting extractions and dentures, think long and hard. I've been through 3 sets of dentures over ten years and every set (made by different places) has caused gagging. Many have no problem but if you have even a slightly sensitive gag reflex, your life will be hell. Just being honest.
I have a terrible gag reflex. So much so that it made the dental work I was having done before I pulled the trigger immense uncomfortable for me and difficult for the dentists and hygienists. I have no gagging problem with my immediate s. I did with the first few insertions but eventually my body decided they weren't going to kill me. I'm 17 days in.

Mad props to you my dude! My lower denture has caused a sore and I was hopeful to find something that might ‘raise’ it just a tiny bit. Do u feel as though this would help me out? I like the way you explain everything. However, it would really help to have the camera pointing at your dentures from your perspective. We don't see anything that you are doing, from how the camera is facing.

I am just like you.I have been using cushion grip since I have a lower denture that really needs an adjustment. I have my own top teeth so far so good.Have you found that you can put the cushion grip in too thick? I loved your method of rolling it in your hands and then placing the cushion grip inside your lower denture.👍

Thanks, I just had my top teeth removed and most of my bottom teeth and looked up the best denture adhesive, this product is in the top 5. I'll be buying some. But my ? is do I have to do this every morning ? Or does keep the dentures in for a few days? So I can just brush in the mornings. thanks

I have a question. I've had tops and bottoms almost 2 years.got 6months til I'm able to get a reline for my bottoms and boy do I need it. I can't keep them in place for long. My mouths super salivary and the paste turns to mush and my mouth dissolves it. When I'm eating it's moving alot so I usually take it out to eat or apply a gawdyly amount. I guess my question is should I just use this product or a soft reline kit? I don't want the dentist to see any visible damage so I'd need something removable but I need to create a seal with my bottoms. I feel like even though I planned on smiling more and being more outgoing I'm still self conscious and uncomfortable bc to the outside world they see a girl with normal teeth but to me I think how can they not tell or what if my top pops up while I'm talking..I just need to know what I should be using to keep my bottom inplace. If anyone has insight I'd appreciate it.i don't want to go to like Walmart or the pharmacy and buy something that made it worst

Thanks for the video ... I wonder if this product is available in the UK, though I've never seen it? I would like to ask too, how does it hold whilst eating ... can you chew well with without it loosening? My current fixative is fine until I eat or drink anything warm or hot as it warms and softens the fixative and your teeth become loose. Is this product easy to remove afterwards? Thankyou.
Update: Doesn't seem to available in shops in the UK other than on Amazon and Ebay, but at ridiculous prices like £15 - £20 for a small tube ... I wonder how much this costs in the U.S.
Thank you for your tutorial I just ordered a tube cushion grip as I haven't found anything that works for my lower dentures. Question how often should one get a relignment?
For some reason, it just won't adhere for me, either at back ends or the sides....
Takes some getting used to, in order to perfect the application. And an adjustment needs to happen when we develop any type of sores caused by our denture. Hope this helps :)

This is my first fime trying this product. And I just did a reline it's not the best but should I take the reline material out before the cushion grip or should I apply the cushion grip over the reline material? Thank you for the videos they help tremendously!
Ive done cushion grip over a soft reline before with no issues. Either or or both can work.

It varies from person to person and isnt uncommon to bleed for literally a few days after extractions. Just continue using gauze and bite down to help create blood clots. Best wishes for a speedy recovery

Im new to dentures had them about a 2weeks.what is better the cushion grip you're using fixodent or poligrip?whats most cost effective?
I actually use and prefer the generic equate walmart brand in the pink and white box when using an adhesive. It comes in zinc, and zinc free versions as well. Cushion grip is great for around 7-10 days, then needs to be removed and reapplied otherwise it becomes difficult to remove. Hope this helps

Not recommended until all extraction sites have fully healed. It will get better, i promise you. Stay strong 💪
