    Isnt it 1/2*pir^2 ? Thats how my trig teacher is having us do it. Then answering in radians and converting that to a number

    What calculator did you use

      I either used a TI-83+ or a Casio Fx-300es. This Casio is the best bang for the buck for a calc.

      mathwithmrbarnes use the pie key on your calc its better than 3.14 and gives you the correct answer: 100.53 cm2

      he does that because a value was supposed to already be given to the arc length but he forgot to write it before the video so he wrote a random value
