Awesome looking lights, I am between the Alpha Rex Pro vs the Nova. The Nova looks badass. I do have some concerns though. Looks to me that your low and high beams are built in leds? If so, then if there's a problem, your looking at changing out the whole headlight. How is the output, and do you know around what the color temp is, 6000k etc

I am still a bit confused on how to hook up the DRL wiring harness, but this video was a big help...between your vid and the instructions on the website, I am hoping to figure it out. I will be ordering a set soon for my 2012.
I love them man, the light output is great. Better than factory and way better than my previous set of lights. Fuse tap is actually really simple, just know what fuse to use. Hopefully I cleared that up in the video for you.
@@xBeanx Thanks for the reply. Carid is out of stock but I think I can order direct. Probably get the jet black model. I have some pretty average aftermarkets on now that the previous owner installed. Time to upgrade...these are pricey, but hopefully worth it.

Brian Nguyen This video was meant to be an install guide only. But since you ask, it’s like 3 times brighter than stock, good beam pattern as long as headlights are adjusted properly.

We closed off the open ends with electrical tape. Very important to do that because if water were to hit the open ends it could short out all of your electronics.

Are these compatible with models with the factory headlight washers? Specifically Sequoia Platinum?
I believe so but you might lose the washer. I’d ask Alpharex they’re very responsive on Instagram.

I think you plugged the side markers in backwards. They don't seem to be on.
They only go on when you switch your light control to parking lights + taillights, or headlights on. Normal light off/drl function they don’t go on. It’s the same with factory tundra lights.
Any experience with Morimoto XB Led headlights? The lights in the video look good. I wish they had a led turn signal
They look good. Those weren’t out when I bought these. Can’t speak for quality but I’d be skeptical. I switched from Spyders and the quality difference really shows between those and the AlphaRex.

I bought the 07 Tundra Morimoto units. Low beam pattern was a downgrade from OE and high beam was set way too high... it wasn't lighting the road but the overhead signs.
I put these on my 2011 Tundra and have no high beams and the radio has static when I activate the turn indicator. What am I missing?
I thought you were supposed to stick the bulb into the whole where that LED side marker cable came out of. Could you shed some more light on this because I tried and failed.

Just so you guys know NEVER TOUCH the bulb part of your headlights with your fingers it can damage the bulb always grab a bulb by its connector
I was not reusing the bulb so I wasn’t exactly concerned about keeping it in tact.

You shouldn't need anything like that for expensive headlights
They look amazing but way over priced
you may think it's "ghetto" but the fact is that it works perfectly. It's much easier to do that than try to completely rewire a Toyota's wiring harness. These headlights are meant for look nice, perform nice, and not be complicated to install like other cheap aftermarket options.
@@xBeanx it is easier and it may work but for $1,000, I'd expect a cleaner install than having wires hanging out of your fuse box.
