I been watching your videos consistently since learning to drive, I can admit I used to be frustrated back when looking into the comments seeing it full with people telling their passed but now after passing my test this afternoon with two minors, I can really understand the amount of happiness and why people want to express it. My son clipped a kerb very early on in his test. He anxiously asked the examiner if that was an automatic fail. The examiner confirmed that it was. Nevertheless, my son completed the test with a good attitude and with no further faults. He re-applied, and passed the next time. It's not the end of the world.

As an American, I love seeing how seriously the training for driving is taken. Most of my education on driving came from a crash course in my sophomore year of highschool in my PE class. None of my education went into caring for my car, maintenance, etc. They literally just passed out a workbook and told us to start practicing. The amount of anxiety I felt when my dad told me to just drive to school the first time I was behind the wheel ( i refused sine I wanted to practice in a parking lot) was insurmountable. All of this is to ultimately say, I 'm not a perfect driver, but the amount of illegal driving activity I see daily living in the USA is horrifying. And it's everywhere within my local county and outside fo it on the highway. I really hope some officials take notice and begin putting heavier restrictions and expectations on training new drivers. I've seen enough to even push for the age limit to be raised form 15/16 to 18-20. Unfortunately, our infrastructure isn't quite there yet to make this a reality.

I was told by examiner that his job isn't to see if I am a good driver, but if I'm a safe enough driver to let loose in traffic. You don't need to be perfect, just be safe and drive confidently and defensively (trying to avoid accidents and keep traffic flowing) And that the real learning starts when you get your license. I've been a driver by proffession not for almost 20 years and I still learn some new things from time to time. Like today I learned that, in tight corners with littl' to no viewing angle, they put traffic mirrors up to help you see around the corner. Smart, would be great if people actually used them, which they don't. So even though I can see them coming and they should be able to see me and have to yield to me, don't expect them to actually use that mirror or you'll have them in your driver door (which didn't happen, because I drive very defensively, because I have handicapped people on board)

Great mock test this and unfortunate Jenny managed to get that many serious faults because honestly a lot of learners in some mock test or driving lesson videos I watch could learn a lot from seeing how Jenny did the observations when moving off and reversing here. Some guy said something about probably worth going to an automatic instead, but I see nothing wrong with her control of the car and gears besides forgetting to go into 1st at that roundabout. I've been guilty of that myself on one of my first few refresher lessons recently and going into 3rd rather than 1st or 4th rather than 2nd (for a turn), happens when you're unfamiliar with the gears of the car and then improves. Then had 2 hrs driving on a 50 mile trip and no faults at all with gears besides finding 5th really awkward to get to in my instructor's car, but feels very easy in the cars that I've been looking to buy

I am 22 and got my license today. I had to wait until it was 2 weeks before my permit expired to practice because I didn’t have access to a car. I drove for one week, managed to keep the speed limit and stay in between the lines. I took two days dedicated to parallel parking, on the second day I parallel parked 5 times in a row flawlessly. Went in to my local dmv and aced the test, perfect 18 inches from the curb. I took the test in a 21 ft pickup truck with a hemi engine. I calmed myself down by just chatting with the instructor during the driving, I kept repeating in my head “I am a good driver, just drive strait between the lines, keep two hands on the wheel, and maintain your speed.” Man I’m so relieved to have that out of the way

At 9:00, after stalling, when exiting the roundabout, did she cut across from right to left lane on the exit ?
To me, she is in the Right lane on the roundabout, which becomes a right rurn lane for A4039. She then proceeds to indicate and proceed to use the exit on to A4063 and proceeds to cut directly across to the far left lane. Now to me, I was always taught, exit the roundabout in the lane you entered it, on the right hand side, she should have exited using the RIGHT of the two lanes on to A4063, and once exited the Roundabout, Indicate, check mirror and blind spots, and move left.

Having alloys on a learner vehicle seems a daft idea. Those things will get shredded.

I hope youve passed your test drive safe and the instructor on the other hand should make eye contact and it clearly shows he doeant give a shit about how much you are paying him for lessons.

I recently passed the driving test and I just bulls*tted my way through
I hit the curb on a somewhat uneven road while turning and just threw out a quick comment about the holes in the road being annoying to drive over, 20 minutes later I passed a pedestrian crossing with a pedestrian waiting (she was out of sight for me because of an illegally parked car but if I slammed the breaks I could have waited for her. No car was behind me.) so I pointed to the other side of the road and asked a random question to divert the attention of my instructor. 10/10 would not pass again

Holy crap, driving instructors are strict as hell over there. Its like you have to be PERFECT to pass the damn thing. This is just insane. I bet this instructor guy has even made mistakes while driving.

You don't have to be perfect at all lmao, you can get a lot of minor faults. Just don't get a serious and you're golden. One of the lowest accident rates in the world for a reason.

i think this isnt the official test so itd make sense why hed want to be more picky and strict because than she can reflect on all the mistakes and know what the instructor is going to look for on the real test

Part of the problem is the steering wheel is on the wrong side. We weren't meant to shift with our left hand.

85 hours of practice!? god bless her!! i wonder if she has a learning difficulty or something. it's good to know these things so that we can be more understanding and compassionate of some people on the road.

It took me around a year of 1 hour lessons per week. So that's around 48 hours practice.

After watching this, I am so glad I passed my test 8 years ago! I can remember the nerves she was feeling 🙈
