Diksha is a more difficult path to follow and is not a escape from responsibilities. Also it is done only after permission from family as well as after making someone as guardian for the family.

And the way you say "Hinduism not at all!", first know hindusim is an art of living and Sanatan is the dharam. And Sanatan was not started by anyone because it is the dharam and true representation of God. People have many mis-understanding about Sanatan Dharam and all thanks to the TV and Drama along with Google. Better get the correct knowledge.
I love watching these diksha videos as I understand leaving family and modern lifestyle is not easy and that too in young age but I really didn't expected people in jainism also have hatred to Sanatan Dharam despite being a part of it.

That's a fair question, but look at it though the other side, by spending lakhs u attract more people to attend the ceremony, and even if 2-3 people on attending this, develop feelings to renounce worldly pleasures and take deeksha it's worth it.

This sure isn't easy. Not for family & nor for the person doing it. But these are chosen ones and if they have made informed choices to seek peace & go into divine's retreat. I am not Jain but few videos I've seen on deeksha makes me think what comes to their hearts & soul to leave everything behind. It's not everyone's cup of tea. But the little I know and have asked my Jain friends that it's not for everyone. Hence they buildup and prepare months ahead to take deeksha 🙏

Dear see in jainism their is a concept known as ' Anekantvad' which means different people have different opinions about a particular topic ,just bcoz one opinion is right that doesn't means that others opinion is wrong bcoz it might be correct from another angle
In our religion we have 24 tirthankaras (god) among them our last tirthankar is mahaveer Prabhu who took diksha after the death of his parents bcoz he doesn't wanted to see his parents in pain .On the other hand we have our first thirtha kar rishabh dev who took diksha when his parents were alive . So in our religion people take diksha at any age depending on their families .for example if they have a big brother who can take care of his parents then they take diksha earlier if no one is their accept him look after his parents then either they don't take diksha or they take at old age .So it depends on type of families and their thinking
And another one thing after taking diksha they don't sit idol they have lot of works .u will be shocked to hear that a jain sadhu wakes up at morning 4 ' o' clock and sleep at night 9 o clock . And they are doing their karma by studying granthas and shastras and encouraging people to respect their parents , to donate money to poor, helping non violence through their pravachana ( speech ) and starting goushala, free hospital, etc etc etc
