Jason has always done his best to be a great dad despite the challenges. He always wants to provide them and keep them happy while also teaching them valuable life lessons and letting them be their own person and making their own decisions. He has made mistakes. He’s put Carly, Sonny, Michael,etc abd their needs ahead of being there for his boys, but he always loved them and knew, despite his sacrifices, they had moving moms who would take care of them. Still, it’s not the same as actually being there for your sons. He definitely regrets that. It’s been nice in recent weeks seeing him give Danny and Jake bonding tim. Also love how Jason let Jake decide if he’d take the money

I think he needs to concentrate on saving himself. On establishing relationships with his children that he neglected and ignored their entire lives in the name of Sonny and Carly. When does Jason get to live for Jason and NOT Carly and Sonny? Thank God Sam's out of the picture or he wouldnt even be near Jake!
I heard that young man portraying Jake is leaving the show, no word on recast or if this is temporary. I think the story line sending him to Spain is crap because of the protests really going on there over tourism, what parent would send their child into an area where there are so many issues over foreign people in Spain. Other Art Schools in other areas for a safer environment.

Yeah, she gets the credit for the boys. Jason sure as hell don’t can’t even believe they’re sending Jake away just so it will be easier less conscience stricken for Jason to ignore him like he’s always done. Make me sick.
Your comment is just weird, Elizabeth spent a huge portion of Jake’s life telling Jason to stay away and have someone else be the father. And then Jake died for years and by the time Jake was back, Jason was kidnapped. And when Jason returned he spent as much time with Jake as he could. This notion that Jason just ignores Jake is so objectively silly.
