If you want to know about the ugliest comp, prisma cosmos, double Oberon, and mage association let's you 3 turn buster farm without plugsuit. Although first two waves will have anemic damage.

this was a very nice guide, I got her from a monthly ticket after spending at least 60 sq on her, granted I only have her at np1. Its a good thing I like the noble phantasm animation more for the arts form more, as god the idea of using her as a buster looper is going to make things quite difficult when I lack a Merlin and I am scared for Oberon's banned (I am skipping the anni banner to prepare for that banner since I'm broke to even consider going for both banners :()

Fucked up alternative to the Prisma Cosmos strat: A LMB'd Awakened Will has a 60% chance to give 15% charge per turn. I would not recommend it for several reasons, but it's good for some laughs.
I'm really _really_ *_REALLY_* glad that I got KoyanLight thru tickets after bagging Melusine in the GSSR, since that means I can spare all of my SQs to guarantee Oberon so I can finally equip my lvl 100 Black Grail on Melusine & farm with her. Prisma Cosmos on Melusine just feels wrong.
Got her sometimes after her release, grailed her to 100 and maxed her out (as much as i could with how many pesky bells she needed), then got her np2 from a monthly ticket clutch pull.
I got 0 quartz left though so i'm not sure what my prospects will be for Vitch or Oberon, especially cos on jp Vitch sucked them all dry before she came, and i might save for summer.
Thanks for the guide, unfortunate knowing i'll have to hope for at least one of those two to make her viable for farming.

I was wondering how "bad" will be the dmg if my Mulusine is only NP1 but I have the meta supps. If ideally will need another Melu copy in the future or if I'm fine with only NP1.
Operation save like a maniac and hope to get lucky worked out. Able to get Melusine to NP5 and level 120 for maximum annihilation.
Thankfully still enough to get Vitch and Oberon. So beyond that just need to get used to the optimal way to handle her. Definitely requires setup to line everything up, but the actual results should be ridiculously fun to watch. And thankfully over the years I've stumbled onto both a maxed Black Grail and Prisma Cosmos. So long as I don't mess things up she'll be able to handle so much stuff going forward. But honestly it's just nice to know that a character I like will be usable in a lot of content going forward.
Is Melusine best investment for 90++? As f2p i have manage to get Skadi, Castoria, Koyan and guarantee pity Oberon. I don't have much hitters though i doubt Dantes would be enough.

do I need to invest further for peak melu or is it diminishing returns from here?

i just got back to the game and got her twice in a single 10 pull.
she absolutely demolishes almost any enemy you throw at her.
on my team i pair her with double castoria, waver and merlin and she easily gets to np 3 times in a row or 4 with her 3rd skill.
also shes actualy quite flexible with her ce´s.
50% charge ce´s with either arts or buster up work very well on her depending on which np is required for the fight.
as far as buster support for her id say light and dark koyanskaya work best based on my experience on jp.

it's a little bittersweet for me. i got her at np1 but i had to give up everything and even then, i had to dip im my wallet a bit. i got nothing left so i won't even entertain pulling for koyan (bills and all that XD ). so i'll just gather my quarts till december to get another copy of melusine. i pray everyone has better rolls.

Castoria and Morgan can be used for Invincible comp (w/Merlin), no need to level their skills up. It's slow but very strong, if the enemy doesn't have buff purge, it's a free win.
Melusine can be your solo Lancer looper. Double Castoria and her do stupid damage even at level one, and you will loop due to her hits.
Buster Melusine needs Koyanskaya, not because of the loop, but cause of the damage. You will have the opportunity to get Koyan on new years if you miss her.
As someone who don't have my own Oberon on JP, my main Mélusine team is a weird Mélusine - Morgan - support Oberon that can actually 6 CE farm without plugsuit - though then, you do need a Mystic Code with at least 10% charge. Damage isn't great though, so every bit of investment in Mélusine (and Morgan) helps.
(and to be completely honest, that same team is easier with Arcueid instead of Mélusine, starting with complete MC freedom)
lol i do same team. sometimes tiamat, oberon and arcueid. but arc needs 50%charge ce cause i dont use her s2 wave 1.

That said even at NP1 (regular Black Grail w/ Double Koyan and Oberon) she's decent enough. I might consider batting for an NP2 on her rerun.
You can still loop without your own oberon..koyan,waver,support oberon..its a huge damage loss but it works

I tried to get her last night, no dice and no percival either.
Melu earned herself a place in my heart on JP by enabling more approaches to shitty 1 / X / X nodes. Just that alone makes her really tempting despite already being set for Buster farming beatsticks.
Didn't roll for her since I wanted to ensure I could pity Koyan and Oberon, but she's a great long-term get as the game start getting more and more creative with nodes that make your life hell.
Or the power of saving up Saint Quartz for over a YEAR STRAIGHT.

I have trouble using Miss Crane, because I can't use her NP after Melusine's since that will clear the wave before Crane's can go off.
Using it first means I can't fire Melusine's NP because it hasn't been charged yet.

I've maintained my (mostly) f2p status and only have her at np1. Any setup I use is only going to be semi efficient.
Optimized builds are only if you particularly care about min-turning. So long as you aren't in a rush to finish the nodes asap, you don't needn't care about it.
Great explanations, but i have no clue if this works for me. I have Koyanskaya as well as Oberon, but only have a NP1 Melusine. Am i able to still loop?
Yes. Use all her skills at T1, recharge her with 2 Koyans at T2, Use all her skills at T3 again and swap in Oberon to fill the rest of her NP bar.
Its made even more effective with even a non-MLB Black Grail

of course your mileage may vary with lv 90/90++ event nodes, but for general farming/free quest clears you wont have much issue.

Would you recommend rolling for another copy of Mel, or saving up for castoria/summer servants?
@@thealolanturtwig5670 I personally would go for Castoria first purely out of the utility she offers. Her super invuln NP has saved my ass so many times ever since I got her. She also makes Arts NP looping so comfy if you have an AOE Arts servant.
I'd say only go for NP2+ Mel if you're really interested in min-turning harder quests.
Can't speak for the upcoming summer servants though since I don't plan to roll for those.

You might want to grail her past 100 to compensate for np1, you don't really need mana loading even if it helps with her st arts form. Even then grailing meluko is never wrong regardless of np level.
Might want to slap in a couple of crit command codes if her damage is still not enough and you need to card.
Save for the december-ish banner.
You can always go for more copies in her next banner in December or try your luck with the paid GSSR. Plenty of time to save, and you can even choose a Black Grail from the free 5-star CE pool when that comes out. Just make sure you land at least one Koyan and Oberon each. Once Tunguska comes out, then you'll really want her to at least NP3. Grails and gold Fous will help a lot, but a higher NP level and the right supports are essential.

You need at least np 2/3 but if you only have her at np1 you could roll again for another copy this december or during gssr (if you are not f2p)
For Buster farming, she doesn't need Mana Loading, so you could invest all of her coins into grailing her past 100. That would help with her NP1 damage.
As an np1 melusine haver in jp since her first banner, i advise anyone roller for her to go for np2 at least. Her damage is potato for 90++ at np1.
Right now she is currently imo the 3rd best 0ce looper behind arc and tiamat. Tha caveat is you also need arc at high np levels to be a reliable omnifarmer for 90++ but she has easier looping setups and more team utility.
Why roll for np2 when np0 works fine? Just borrow a whale's Melussy bring a koyanskaya Oberon and another 50% charger and viola. 2 koyanskaya with np2 melusine won't outdamage a np5 MLB black grail melusine even if she only brought one koyanskaya

Tiamat is week against lancers archers, sabers while melusine is only weak against sabers and tiamat not hitting that much harder so as an omnifarmer melusine is better.
Arc can use black grail but cant use oberon she has to use atlas cus i believe her 100% charge is 7turn and she dont have a + 30% charge like melusine so if u use oberon plug she cant loop at turn 3 cus of the missing 30% charge so arc for 90++ is not the strongest cus u either use BG or oberon the 2 wont be possible but she has the freedom of using any ce for regular farming and u dont need oberon to use her while if melusine using a damage ce she needs plugsuit but damage will not be a problem for her.
Its like kukulkan she has a near perfect kit that has all of the damage type but she cant black grail so her damage cant reach that high so even cu caster is better than arc cus he can use bg and oberon so he will hit harder.
Again tiamat has the weakness of only working against half of the main servant class and melusines weekness is only 1 class.
But multicore farming is the best way to farm 90++ so invest into summer ibuki and arts servants instead cus only 2 wave 90++ nodes or where the stronger enemy is on the first or second wave there will be problems for these meta buster loopers cus if there damaging skill cooldown is more than 5 turn than thats a problem and if they rely on ramping up there np overcharge effect that is an another problem as well.

@@arrexu01 summer ibuki is a berserker that is strong against all of the classes and has supereefective damage against earth attribute which is the most common attribute in fgo and her skills not only buff her but they buff there team mates as well.
So u can use 1 castoria and 2 summer ibuki or 2 castoria and 1 summer ibuki and an another arts servant and most of the time the big hp enemy is alone in 90++ so u can bring a single target arts servant that will hit nearly asmuch as an aoe arts servant with oberon buffing.
At 90++ most of the time 1 looper is not enough i think only tiamat has the power to always kill the big hp enemy alone if its not saber archer or lancer.
The biggest take that u can take that there is no servant that can do everything at 90++.
Senji muramasa is more of a boss killer cus his entire kit is build like a boss killer but he can loop but not he cant be an omnifarmer cus he lack power.
What is the required NP level to farm with melusive with the premium set up? I have np3 is it enough, please help guys
You do about 70k on Neutral with Lvl90 Mel (Buster) on premium set ups. On Archer and Zerkers, about 150k. Ramps up each turn since Mel has Buster up on NP.
NP3 with BG, double Koyan and Oberon is more than enough in most cases.

Lvl 90 NP2 Melusine (Buster) with Koyanskaya does 150k per target on neutral. Damage ramps up since Mel gets 20% Buster up per np on 3 turns.

I have np3 mel, every 90+ quest works with her, but 90++ depends on the quest
Np2 works for some 90++ but not all. Though for just 90+ that is enough to handle it.

No koyan and Oberon are more important, the damage output from np2 to np3 isn’t much compared to np1 to np2
