I literally watch this from start to finish!! It was so satisfying!!
I use adobe draw and it has a lot of different brushes, some have harder or softer edges and it’s easy to zoom, rotate, change opacity and size and it’s free. This app works but I see you using the eraser a lot to smooth when in adobe draw it’s smoother and you also have softer edges in the brushes.
I just said basically the same thing. But Adobe Draw can transfer over to illustrator so you can vectorize it or Ps to enlarge and sharpen it.
You say it free? I thought maybe she advertised PicsArt because it was a free tool outside of Photoshop and adobe
Adobe is much more complicated though in my opiniom

The eyebrows were really helpful...when I first tried to make a cartoon pic like this I attempted to actually draw small hairs for the brows and look really messy

Its 1000x better on android. I have both versions. I use Galaxy Note 8 (any Note's S-pen will work) for precision. I only like iOS for my ipad pro & the adobe apps. Thats it. PicsArt is for mobile screens. I found that out the hard way.

I'm soooo happy I finally found a tutorial on this!! I was wondering why SO many people on Instagtam were 'cartoonists' and graphic artists peddling their art. I mean, you DEFINITELY need skill to do this kind of thing, but these artworks absolutely aren't made from the ground up.
I feel negatively about these apps because it saturates the true artists' realm and makes it harder for the artists who draw/illustrate from scratch. We all got to make money somehow, but these kind of apps REALLY hurt the artist community.
I used to think that too, but I have decided the existence of tracing doesn't devalue art in anyway. In fact, tracing is a valuable tool to learn proportions or make sure you get them right.

I'm just saying that these apps are just another reason that TRUE artists fail to make a living, the market gets far too saturated with these tracings and these tracungs are sold at low prices. It's that way for a lot of stuff, do it cheaper, faster, but the quality is not the same. IMO these tracing look fake and cheap. I'd much rather have an original work done, not only would it look better, but it'd be done with integrity, you know what I mean?

i gave up on doing it through my phone so I moved to the computer and used Adobe Photoshop to make it myself
took me 3 hours, but it was kind of worth it...

one layer is for skin color the next layer is for clothes and hair and the next layer is for detailing the face brows and lips(tracing over the picture) and the next layer ? it seem like that used to add the gloss over the lips it looks like... idk.. great video tho👍 i actually attempted to do it & it ain’t turn out too bad.
