- Tom Isted asked me if I want to ride the gnarliest track in Queenstown. I don't know if it is the gnarliest, but it was definitely insanely steep and technical even on a downhill bike. Shout out to Connor Mcfarlane for riding it on an enduro bike. New Zealand is unreal for MTB and the bike parks are incredible. Enjoy the POV riding and super steep shoots! That was some seriously gnarly terrain, Matt. Nicely played.
I can't wait to see Matt racing world cup events, The calmness it takes to trick jumps is way more zen than what it takes to shred a downhill run. You just have to find the best lines in downhill and hit them at your max speed. You get that calmness after many runs and you have to apply that to each track. It's a fun game, but pulling tricks on jumps is miles ahead of rolling fast. Matt already has the mental challenge part of riding mastered
When it look steep on the Gopro that flattens out everything, you know it's steep as fuck

great trail. The pine steeps looked so fun. I rode lots of stuff just like that in Connecticut and New York. So steep your balls are in danger of getting hit by the rear tire
