My biggest issue is I’m constantly getting ear infections while using the medication. My MRI a year after starting the medication doesn’t show progression, but definitely still having issues which is the damage from my flareup, etc. I think a newer symptom I have experienced after a year is nystagmus.

I am on Vumerity. Have been on for one month So far no RRMS I had flushing and a little tummy ache the first week and all of it cleared up So presently on month 2 and no issues I highly recommend if your Dr has diagnosed you with MS based on MRI and Spinal tap ( looking for the proteins) I did nothing at first the "Denial stage) then when the tap came back I went from 13 to 130 (thats bad should be 1-3) So my delay in treatment allowed more MS damage to occur.... jmo

Glad to hear it's helping CJ. And, you're right, taking early action with MS is critical.

This is very helpful, thank you. Vumerity was just prescribed for me, but I have not taken it yet. I’m on the fence about it due to its side effects, as well as it being a new drug. I also haven’t found comments regarding its usage from live people who participated in their studies &/or clinical trials.

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately so many of these have side effects to be concerned about. So I understand you holding off. If you do decide to move forward let me know. Very interested to see if it helps.

@@MiDestinyx3js Hi!! I’m sorry that you even have to consider taking a medication to treat symptoms of MS. Please know that I never took the medication at all. I started reading a lot about MS and since there was some uncertainty about whether I had it or not, I changed my diet, and added vitamins. I can tell you more privately.

The truth is we don’t know for sure how it works. What we believe is it’s related to its anti-inflammatory properties
