- ALL MAKESHIFT SCENES FROM TRANSFORMERS PRIME.
HISTORY FROM CARTOON:
Makeshift was one of the many troops under Starscream's command. When Bulkhead's old Wrecker buddy Wheeljack was on his way to Earth, Soundwave downloaded the Autobot's form and war record into Makeshift, so that he could impersonate Wheeljack. The real Wheeljack was captured, and Makeshift took his place on the battlefield in time for Bulkhead, Arcee and Bumblebee to arrive.
The Autobots accepted Makeshift as Wheeljack and held an impromptu party. Makeshift attempted to fulfill his mission and activate the GroundBridge for the Decepticons to storm in through, but it had been damaged in a recent Scraplet attack, and Ratchet had it deactivated for repairs. As Bulkhead's suspicion rose, Makeshift asked to be shown around by Miko. He managed to learn the location of the Autobot base from her, and asked if she could show her where the exit was. This led them back to the main control room, where a suspicious Bulkhead demanded he tell the story of their involvement at the Battle of Darkmount Pass. Makeshift recalled the information from Wheeljack's war record, but got a vital fact wrong: Bulkhead had left the Wreckers before the battle. When Bulkhead pointed out his error, Makeshift realized he'd been made, and took Miko hostage, threatening to "squeeze her into pulp".
The GroundBridge was eventually ready, and Makeshift activated it at the coordinates he'd been given. As he prepared to go through it, Wheeljack, who'd escaped the Decepticons, came through in the other direction. The pair dueled with their swords until Wheeljack was victorious, and Bulkhead threw Makeshift through the ground bridge. Arriving on the top of the Decepticon ship, Makeshift was about to report the location of the Autobot base, but had failed to notice that the grenade he carried at his hip had been set off by the Autobots. As Starscream and Soundwave bailed, Makeshift was caught in the ensuing explosion. Con Job
When Smokescreen arrived on Earth, the other Autobots were hesitant to trust him, remembering their encounter with Makeshift.

The very creators of TF Prime said they liked the character, but his powers meant he had to be killed off since he was too OP.
If this character was still alive he could have the decepticons win the war very easily.
How would he have been overpowered exactly?
@@sabertooth3studioshq838 shapeshifting into literally anything his size? Seems pretty damn op.
Though, he did have significance in the connecting novels. He infiltrated the Ark as Hound and sabotaged the ship twice before eventually being found out.
@@sizzler9731 I see, though i only assumed that bots like him could only become mechanical things. As it would make since. Also you said anything his size so I think combiners or bots the size of one won't count.
@@sabertooth3studioshq838 i think the most realistic abuse of makeshift would be to potentially have 2 megatrons vs 1 optimus prime
I wish they used Makeshift as a character more in the series. I love the concept of a shape shifting villain. Like Double Trouble in She-Ra.
yeah
Do u know in which season and episode this character has come

Am I the only the one who noticed the smirk on his face when the grenade went off?
no
Maybe he was secretly suicidal or something? I noticed the smirk but that's the only reason I could think of
maybe it’s just the angle, either that or he was genuinely surprised, kinda like they outsmarted him
Yeah, i did too. Possibly admirong Wheeljack’s cleverness, I think.
Nope, perhaps he was glad, to find someone to outsmart him.
Makeshift is the only decepticon that can't speak (besides soundwave)
He does speak in his real voice though.
Soundwave does speak occasionally but thats cuz he has no mouth still has a voice box tho
Eventhough he only showed up for 20 or 30 seconds in this episode, I still find Makeshift designs interesting and unique in the show. And since the new upcoming Transformers toyline in 2022, Transformers Legacy, will be introducing characters from Armada, Beast Wars, and Prime cartoon series, I would love Hasbro and Takara would make a Deluxe Class or Voyager Class scale for Makeshift in figure form. The vehicle mode they can randomly choose but as long they kept the robot mode show accruate, I'll be okay with that.
We don't really know what he actually looks like.
Speaking of Armada, there was also a Mini-Con named Makeshift who's a helicopter robot.
The vehicle mode for Makeshift would be...Wheeljack.
Wait there is no transformers prime toy of makeshift really they didn't make a toy of makeshift yes there is no toy I'd makeshift every character in the show got a toy but not makeshift wow I didn't even know that
The legacy line makes transformers characters look lile g1, so it would be possible for them to tweak the design to look more like g1.
The intro to this video was like a bitch slap from 2009
😹😹💀
Is it just me? or does Makeshift kinda sounds like Skips from Regular Show, I mean I know that he has a different voice actor but just sayin' 😂
Kinda looks like a spiky knockoff of Knockout
@Pisces Prime ye
The silhouette of his real form does kinda look like Lockdown from Transformers animated. Having a similar build and having spikes on his shoulders.
My only question is why didn't makeshift just throw the grenade off the ship? It's not like it was tied on or anything
And starscreen could have screamed grenade and makeshift could have reacted before it exploded
Cuz the writers needed him dead
He smirks at this scene 6:07 so maybe he was fine with it
Makeshift death was kind of stupid like why did he not throw the grenade it was not even stuck to him
He is my favorite Decepticon same to Hardshell Soundwave shockwave and Predaking
Too bad Makeshift was a 1 episode guest character.
Like Skyquake
I really wish we got to see makeshift main design we don't know what he looks like and his death was kind of stupid like why did he not throw the gruned I wish we got more of makeshift but no he got killed of oready
The creators said they had to get rid of him because he was OP. A bot that could turn into others near his size that shit was waaaaayyy to dangerous fr. He had to he killed kff even tho he was one of my favorites too
@@noctemluxarmiger what you mean way to dangerous fr what the hell is that even suppose to even mean like I don't understand and really they finally tell us why makeshift had to be killed of dude it's 2023 did it really take them that long to finally say something like hell can they tell us why they killed cliffjumper of in the beginning of the episode hell even skyquake he died literally in episode 6 they didn't even tell us why they killed him of
@@dallasdiaz2130 Did you watch the video? He's dangerous because of how easy it is for him to infiltrate the Autobot base, also they revealed why they killed him back in 2011 shortly after this episode came out, it didn't take them 12 years.
@@thewapikmin280 give me a reason why I should belive I really find that hard to believe
@@thewapikmin280 your right I I decided to hook up why makeshift had to be killed of oready and yes you were right I understand now it makes sense now
