Poor Street could literally be dying in a hospital bed and still she'll never say she loves him. Chris is so emotionally shut off to the point she can't love anyone. But what's worse is that she's pretty much made it clear that her job is her entire life which is sad and lonely. Time to move on for good Street cause you'll never get anywhere with her.

I was such a huge fan of them being a couple, but at this point I'm not even sure if I want them together coz honestly Street deserves way better. I don't even hate Chris, it's the writers who are making her character annoying. I'm just gonna watch the finale and if they don't resolve this story line I'm quiting this show. As long as they resolve it, either let it be known that they will stay apart, or put them together. Tired of the will they won't they for 5 whole season.
To be honest if they break these two up I'm done because in episode 15 she was fine with him but the went ice cold over night. I think giving the fans simp Street was sweet but it makes watching them together hard because because they made Chris plain mean at some points after episode 15. And it's obvious by comments online that many viewers watch because of them so lets see what happens.

You can only drag out the will they, won't they tension for so long, - and it has been five frick'n seasons. For me, it lost its charm two seasons ago.

A storyline where she gets a job with her former squad would be great. Than they could be together.
The answer is simple, Chris is her own worst enemy and can't love anyone. She needs to do at least one thing right and that's let Street go so he can be happy with someone who isn't gonna string him along because their head gets in the way.
Do you think that the reason she pushes him away is because losing Erika was so difficult on her, and now she’s afraid of losing Street this way? She did not handle him being on that airplane hijacking situation well.

I used to watch live each week. The past couple of episodes I'm so glad I didn't stress about staying up. It's getting harder to watch and if she leaves I don't think I'll continue on next season. This is beyond frustrating 😕
I think a lot of us feel that way. All of this feels like a waste.

This hurt so bad. I could see the pain in her eyes. She is still traumatized by her painful past. He doesn't know about what happened to her. She loves him. All it would take is one phone call from either one of them. They would be there in a heartbeat. This is not over.

Why did they give us season 4 and the beginning of season 5 only to ruin them like this. More specifically Chris because now she's mean and selfish.
I have watched this clip many, many times and after Street said “Say you don’t love me?” She couldn’t look him in the eye, couldn’t say the words and couldn’t confess her feelings but when Street said “Ok I’m done.” the look on her face and deep down inside she was absolutely gutted. Look y’all if they don’t end up together she will end up regretting it which at this point after making street go through all that he has with this will they won’t they, she deserves that regret. Let’s see what happens.

Chris loves street, that's why she couldn't say that she didn't. I don't know if she's afraid to admit her true feelings, because she doesnt want to get hurt or if it's not real. They both liked each other from the beginning. He's pouring his heart out and I hated that she just left him hanging like that. He's practically begging her to love him the way he loves her, so I'm choosing to have hope that before the seasons over she will tell him how she truly feels and they will be together.

i agree, from the look on her face she just wanted to be alone and process what had just happened. i mean she found out someone she cares about is going to die and decided to quit swat on the same day which is a lot. she probably just didn’t want to have to deal with another big decision that same day
My heart shattered during this scene. 💔 I hate the writing for making fans go through this. Out of all the character ships I was invested in, this seems to hurt more.

I understand the writers want to keep some mileage into the new season .But honestly they are painting Chris's character as a selfish ,ego centric character ,happy to quit Swat for her own motives ,but not even consider it for him . Now she has'nt that to hide behind she has to face the reality that she only valued his attention as validation of her . She loved him loving her, not a very wholesome character .Would'nt even set him free by telling him it was over straight . Even though the narrative may well put them together , can't help feeling the true love relationship Molly gave him was far better .

Faut il que street soit entre la vie et la mort pour que chris réagisse enfin!!! Elle le regarde partir partir, elle s’avance même vers lui étonné par sa réaction. Elle ne monte pas dans sa voiture, non elle reste et le regarde presque en pleurs et désemparée. On voit bien qu’elle lutte intérieure, elle est tellement amoureuse de street qu’elle n’arrive plus à se contrôler. Qu’on la libère de ses sentiments et donner leur une fin heureuse car ils le méritent tous les deux car ils vont exploser tous les deux. Street avait d’ailleurs dit dans l’épisode 2 qu’il serait un couple terrible.

I had to pause the show during this final scene, I was so mad at Chris for letting him walk away, for pushing him to leave. You could how happy he was to tell her. She takes care of other people but she forgets to let herself be happy, let someone in! Lina leaving is so tough, I hope she’s not-but this is really setting her departure up. 😩😩😩
I just watched it again-it’s like a punch to the get when she tells Street it’s not meant to be, and he asks her if she loves him. If she didn’t she would have shut him down right there, but instead she gets frustrated. Ahh I can’t!

I know everybody here start thinking that Stris will never happen but I have a bit different opinion about this: Can you remember, when Street surprised Chris with a ticket for Skydiving. I think that they will find a solution to solve their problems and at the end of the season they will do the Skydive. Hopefully this is the beginning of a real relationship between them in Season 6

Unpopular Opinion: I think Chris loves Street more than he loves her (or it's equal). I think she feels she will damage him because of whatever she may still be holding from her past. It isn't cruelty that makes her push him away. It is pure fear. She is in love with him and the thought of losing him (by death) or tarnishing / hurting him causes her to push him away. I've never seen 2 people more in need of love than the both of them. I love them, and if she isn't in Season 6, then I doubt I'll continue watching the show.
Before this scene i had low expectations and hopes but after this i had no doubts anymore about how much these two love each others and their future: yep writing is very much frustrating and they keep doing drama but think it's very clear street and chris will be canom in the next episodes, maybe the next one. I mean look at them: she can't deny the fact she loves him because of couse she loves him...a lot....and the way she does is deep even if she keep pretending she can live without him and street is every day more sure and confident abous his feelings for her, he doesn't deny them anymore, on the contrary he open up about them each day more, even with the member teams. Andbas regards their chemistry, the tensione between them when they are together and the way they look each other when they talk...well....you can see by your own, the feeling is there and everyone can feel it. Don't think they can pretend or fake it for too long

I have no idea what to say. This is such an underwhelming character arc for Chris. I wanted her to thrive, progress in her police work if she was going to leave. I understand why they wrote it like this, but this is some serious bullshit.
I'm with Street on this one, I'm done with it. She is frustrated and unable to express her emotions, I understand that because I am like that and I can feel her heart breaking when she watches him leave.
Also, I was hoping for a more interesting story to be introduced, from the trailer for this ep, when Street tells Hondo he has to see something, I hoped it would be like stalker photos of the team or something that could potentially be played out through the next season, but, you know, writers gonna "write".
This cast needed some shaking up, and I think Cabrerra (not sure I spelled it right) will be the replacement, I like her.
Maybe, judging by the trailer for the next episode, Street gets injured and she finally looses her shit and get it from her ass to her head and we get progress, but I will not be holding my breath.
Honestly since Street’s character arc was growth, it kinda makes sense that for Chris it’s the opposite. She’s also much more rigid in her ways, so it makes sense for her to kinda lose it when her world gets shaken up like that on so many levels. She’s used to a very rigid routine and a set of rigid rules she follows, and it’s now all falling apart, she doesn’t know how to function.
El problema es que los escritores destruyeron el personaje de Chris, creo que ella tenía mucho para dar, un cambio en su forma de ver la vida, derrumbar sus muros.
Es una decepción lo que están haciendo con los personajes.
Y Cabrera, no tengo nada contra ella, pero si iban a meter a alguien en lugar de Chris era mejor poner a Nora.
Espero equivocarme y los escritores no hagan un desastre, porque la verdad sin Lina en la serie. Ya no tiene sentido ese escuadrón ya no sería más "familia".

Okay I'm going to put this out there and I hope it's a prediction that will come true; so here's my theory I think there's something here that we're missing i.e hasn't been revealed to us as of yet; it would be a good surprise to me if it turned out that Chris is pushing him away because there's a bigger picture of something's going on and I think it might even have to do with Mama Pena's house perhaps some higher ups have tapped Chris on the shoulder to go undercover and for right now she's got to push everyone away, that would be a good way to explain this wishy-washy attitude of hers that she's had for months with him otherwise these writers have wasted our entire time let's hope my theory is correct

A chatice toda é que Street meio que parou no tempo pra esperar ela se decidir e ela não sabe o que fazer: viver um amor, que apareceu do nada, com um cara massa amigo e apaixonado por ela ou seguir os planos que ela traçou e lutou tanto pra alcançar, sendo que um inviabiliza o outro? Já parou pra pensar? Um casal que se ama tanto e ter que manter isso tudo em segredo até enquanto dure a relação? Talvez os autores realmente não saibam o que fazer. Talvez não contassem com essa aceitação gigantesca dos fãs da série. Veja Hondo e Jessica, as idas e vindas, as dificuldades. O que Street e Chris construiram é muito sólido, uma grande amizade, baseada em muita confiança. Daí vem o medo de perder o que eles já tem.
@@andreiacostameireles5951 Realmente, essa coisa de amor proibido é complicado, querer dormir junto, namorar andar de mãos dadas e não poder, tudo isso por causa da liturgia do cargo que oucupam, conheci um casal que se envolveu no ambiente laboral, os dois começara uma relação e quando a coisa ficou séria ela pediu demissão para casar com o rapaz, mas os roteiristas da série não seriam tão ousados com a Cris e o Stret.
