    Thank you very much for this video and for sharing your knowledge. Its very useful. I have only two observations:
    1) I would recommend to remove the filling plug before the drain plug to allow air entering into engine for proper oil drainage (vaccum is avoided).
    2) I think the procedure you use for checking oil level is not correct and may be dangerous. You should not measure the oil level after screwing and unscrewing the dip stick as shown in the video. Correct way is to s

    Thank you for sharing. However I would recommend to review the oil level check procedure shown in your video as it is not according to Brixton instructions. This will avoid misleading oil measurements that can lead Brixton users to serious engine damage. Many thanks.

      After positioning the bike on its center stand and running the engine for about. 3 min, screw out the oil level dip stick, clean it with a dry cloth and plug-in. Do not screw it when checking oil level. Then check the oil level that should be between max and min marks. After checking oil level screw the oil dip stick.

    This bike ain't bad if you have access to parts, it's been a journey for me just to find any of them like the brake master pump kit, ecu, and plugs. Right now I'm stuck with buying other motorcycle parts instead. Thank god that the ecu is the same as the benelli rfs 150 as it uses the delphi mt05 😉😉😉

    I would appreciate if you cold make a video on how to adjust te chain tension. I find it difficult to get the right tension as it always become too tight after tightening the rear wheel shaft nut.

    I am surprised that there is not a magnet set into the filter cap, that would at least catch any metal particles that got through the very course mesh of the "filter", many thanks for posting this.

      @@D3Sshooter I prefer to drill a small pocket hole then locktite a small super magnet in place, you will be surprised how much it collects, and with a simple mesh filter like this has it could save trouble later on, your idea of a regular oil change is very wise ! Chris B.

      @@453421abcdefg12345 , that is also an option...as long as the magnet is not restricting the flow ( which it will , if its on the filter maize) . That is why I would glue it to inside of the cap... that way the flow of oil is not restricted at all.... and yes, i am aware that it will collect a lot... in the old days the drainplug was often magnetic...

      D3Shooter: Oh no I did not mean bury it in the filter element, I think sinking it in the centre of the cap where it would be in the middle of the pressure spring, if the cap is thick enough in that area, the super magnets are very small so could be easy to encapsulate in epoxy resin, if you get the coin shaped one, then, with a cover of resin over the bottom of the cap it should be OK.       Thanks for the reply! It's also a re-starter bike for me, after several years of not owning/riding bikes. Like a childhood re-exploration. I think I will keep it for a couple of years or more if I manage DIY maintenance.

    I would like your opinion please on this oil, Liqui Moly Super Leichtlauf 10W-40. The recomended oil factory recomends I did not find, only this one. Greetings from Portugal, thanks again for your video.

    do you notice any difference in how the bike runs after you seem to have removed the exhaust wrap? I was under the impression that the wrap provides some insulation to keep all the gasses in the exhaust at the right temp to avoid a drop in power? I saw it shown in another youtube video ... is this correct or is the exhaust system fine without the wrap?

      That wrapping is a show thing, it does not make any difference...

    Great video, but, usually there's a real oil filter even if they put that metal mesh, if not it's the first bike I see just with that for filtering the oil

    Hi! E10 fuel is coming to the UK soon. My user manual says not to use E10 fuel. Is there any reason why? Any Brixton owners overseas use E10 fuel with no problems?!

      yes , to much ethanol/methanol in it that can cause issues to rubbers and plastics

      That is out of the maintenance shedule as he standard period. Of course changing it earlier does do no harm... except in the wallet.

    Brixton says You have to use liqui molly motorbike 4T 10w 40, its full mineralic

      Brixton has established the minimum standard oil recommended for the engine. The liquid molly 4T 10w40 has optimum performance based on mineral technology and will work fine. However, synthetic technology in the same viscosity range (as proposed in this video) it´s an excellent recommendation.

    hi Good day, I am from malaysia. I bought BX150X, as in your country it will be BX125 X. anyway, i want to ask you, due to my brix having like a lost power when i maintaining the speed. especially during morning or after the rain. its like your bike cant go further speed. but when you pull a litte bit on throttle, it go to normal. and sometime, its still stuck at the speed although you pull the throttle more. What is the problem with my bike? and how to fix it?

      @@saifulain8585 , First I would read out the error codes on the ECU with the OBD2 tool . That would be a good start, secondly check all the connections to all the sensor. Replace the sparkplug , and make sure that everything is dry. Then record exactly under what circumstances the bike has issues... Very often the oxygin sensor in the front of the exchaust is fualty.

      ​@@briantsai4276 I got a BX 150 last week and so far I like it quite a lot. I used to have a Sym Wolf 125 and the BX 150 isn't as nimble and doesn't sound as good, but it's more comfortable, looks great, and is much more stable at speed. I think with a bit of remapping and a louder exhaust it'd be perfect (and maybe slightly narrower and lower handle bars).

    Sorry, but the manual says it differently!
    DON'T turn in the stick for measuring. Just put it on the beginning of the threads, and that's the correct position to measure.

      Screw out the oil dip stick, clean it with a dry cloth and plug it in but unscrewed (just sitting on filling hole base). You should not screw it again otherwise you level reading will show higher than really is. (check owners manual)

      robert hesse , indeed, but than again not that different then other bikes like this. That is why its better to drain the oil more often

      two years ago I bought a Honda CG BR-J made back in 1987 which had that same filter and and that started on the first attempt even after sitting in a garage for 3 years so the filter must be better than it looks
