These look great and I would pay the $65 to replace the broken og ones if I had this Thundertank.
Great replacements! It reminds me of my Tyco Fast Traxx. The rubber tank treads got loose over time. Luckily 13 year old me saved up some money and mailed a check to Tyco for some replacement treads and other parts. I still have those treads and parts mint in box cause I never used them.

You get a awesome product called rubber saver.. $6 your rubber and plastic will last a very long time.

I'm still devastated to this day that I absolutely ruined my Thundertank by colouring it in with different coloured paint pens. Also I always thought that it would've been cool if the figures were only the size of Action Man/G.I. Joe so you could have gotten a full squad in there and put an actual roof on it like the A -Team Truck. Makes you wonder why the didn't do it with the 89 Batmobile? My motto in life is always accomodate for the ears.
You can buy a replacement Thundertank though, right? I guess it's not the same as having your same childhood one. Don't beat yourself up about it, anyways! :)

Use gorilla tape on the inside of the old treads. Prewash them to remove dirt and oil. Thats how I would go about it I dont own the toy though.
Advice, before replacing the threads, in order not to stress them, it's wise to remove the two washers on the sides of the tank wheels... or you might snap them in half when tacking them out.

Those are awesome Mike!👍 I, personally would be fine with repro parts if I could have the vintage tracks to keep in my collection. Even if they were broke I would like to keep them. I even keep old replaced O-rings and keep them packed up with the original figure! Is that weird?😂
