The main issue here is Yasir and the PIF only have cold hard cash. They don't have anything else and if the PGA Tour keeps their players then what else does LIV/PIF and Yasir have? Sure they may pick off players like Victor Hovland, who can't play anymore. Those are the type of players they will always get- either past their prime types like Lee Westwood and Kaymer, or struggle bus players. Very few if any of the top guys are going to go over there because there are no world ranking points. And top guys are going to want to play the top PGA Tour events. I'm glad the majors are giving some LIV players invitations to majors.. But look at a guy like Louie O. He is basically forgotten and has one of the best swings on the planet.
the best golfers in the world play on LIV now. not in the future. now. if you choose not to watch, then you won’t see the best play, which is weird because you claim to enjoy golf 🤷♀️

I’m still giving Tiger more runway with his leadership but he needs to wake up.
Guys like Cantlay and speeth seem to be holding things back.
The problem for the Tour now is they wish they could negotiate with their 2022 chips when their 2024 chips are much diminished.
we differ on one point, if Tiger wanted a deal, it would be done despite Jordan or Cantlays fake outrage. Tiger holds the power. i understand he deserves anything he gets on the course, but off the course, he needs to be held accountable
@@54_Golf negotiations are tough. But at least they are talking. I’m of the opinion the pga tour does not have to sell much of itself to pif or anyone. At least not right now because their value is diminished. . IMO they just needs to reduce their number of required events, make the signature events full field , and maybe the smaller events smaller fields, and simply let the LIv guys come back without making any deals with pif because they need those players.
But I will say if the pga tour does not drastically improve its coverage with its broadcast partners, the oga tour will continue to struggle.
Why is is random guys on you tube seem so popular but the oga tour seems to be less and less, it’s because those social boys make their content fun. The pga tour coverage no matter who’s playing becomes a snooze fest.
