REKAP ⚾️ Cubs 9-2 Win Over the Orioles - Otis the Owl moves to 4 and 1 as the bats break out

- The Cubs pounded one of the best teams in baseball tonight. Since Kap incorporated Otis the Owl in his REKAPs, the Cubs move to 4-1.
Kap thought Jameson Taillon was excellent tonight only allowing 4 hits in 6 innings and giving up just 2 runs. He struck out 8 Orioles.
The bats also woke up. Ian Happ hit a monster 3-run home run in the 4th inning to break the game open. Michael Busch hit a home run in the 1st to get the Cubs on the board. He had 4 hits in the game total. Seiya Suzuki had a couple of RBIs and even Dansby Swanson had an RBI.
Hunter Bigge made his major league debut in the Cubs bullpen and pitched a clean inning with 1 strike out.
The Cubs have to keep playing like this all week to convince management not to blow this team up at the deadline. Let's see if they can do it.

This team frustrated me, because I know that we have it in us to play some form of this every game. Not 9 runs, but 4.5 is attainable and the defense was great. I how we can build on this before the trade deadline. Congrats to Biggee and "Ambush" Busch. LET'S GO CUBS!!!
If the Cubs win 5 games here on the trip before the break they would be 47-51 in a terrible NL WC race. Would make for an interesting decision for the FO.
