      Yay! I admit that circumstances have gotten me behind on posting videos (remodeling 😁 and pandemic 😣) hope to get rolling with it again soon. Thank you for the encouragement 😁

    Great video. How do you create the sticker with your font?

      Good question, I didnt explain that! On the left side toolbar, the sticky note is the icon underneath the A icon. It looks like a sticky note pad with pencil.

    How do you like using Windows vice MAC? I have an iMAC and used to have a MAC Book Pro. I am thinking about buying another laptop and was considering Windows because of price.

      There hasn't been much of a difference for me. I had been using MacBook Pros since about 2004 at home and Windows PCs at my jobs so I was familiar with operating both. I made the switch because I was able to get a lot more speed and storage for the price (my Mac had started refusing to save anything because it was out of space). My husband builds his own computers and was able to help me pick out a gaming laptop with great specs. The Silhouette software and GF apps act the same, I have no complaints.

      Okay, thanks! I use both too...Apple products for home and Dell for work. I hate having to use an external hard drive with my iMAC because iTunes and Photo use so much space even with the Cloud. I was thinking of just getting Windows-based laptop just for crafting and keeping my iMAC for everything else.

      @@MegUSN52 yep, I think that would work out perfectly for you!

    How do you account for kerf?

    • @LadyCrockettCrafts
      @LadyCrockettCrafts  Před 4 lety +2

      I didn't this time, sometimes I just center the pieces to the kerf loss spacing if that makes sense. I have another video on calculating kerf adjustments which can be applied here by making an offset of the last name to make it thicker to account for kerf loss.
